Buildops is changing the game

Pros

The best thing about BuildOps is having everything in one place. The website is pretty easy to use and invoicing is smooth. I love that I can create and format forms just the way I want and I get to choose exactly what the customer sees on their invoice. Plus, the team behind it is incredible, super smart, helpful and always willing to assist!

Cons

The one thing I would really like to see is the ability to insert forms that technicians can fill out, like inspection forms, safety talks and accident reports. They usually do not have the time to stop by and pick up paper copies, so having them available in the system would be a huge help.

Very disappointed

Pros

Do not believe the sales pitch. After we paid, they suddenly told us that some of the features we were promised were not actually possible. When we brought up what was said during the sales demo, the response was just, "I have had multiple people say that to me." That was beyond frustrating and felt completely misleading.

Cons

Honestly, there are no pros. Customer service and technical support are completely nonexistent.

Rough start but improving

Pros

It is easy to use and offers tons of options. They are always rolling out updates with new features, which is great. The customer support we get has also been a huge help.

Cons

There are just too many steps to create a Purchase Order. Plus, having to add the same property multiple times for different customers is frustrating. We have several customers sending us to the same location and it would be so much easier if the property was created once, so all the history stayed in one place for our technicians to access.

Solid and reliable system

Pros

It really improves efficiency for the whole team. Once you take the time to learn the system, it works smoothly. The account managers are super responsive and their support team is quick to jump in and help whenever needed.

Cons

The main drawbacks are the high cost and the time it takes to learn how to use it properly.

Very efficient tool

Pros

I love that it gives me real-time data on how well we quoted our Service Agreements. Being able to attach equipment manuals directly to the agreements is another feature I really appreciate.

Cons

I do not like that I cannot make changes to the Asset Checklist after it has been attached to an Agreement. If I clone them, the old ones are still there, which means a lot of unnecessary scrolling just to find the right checklist. On top of that, the checklists do not show up in alphabetical or numerical order in the dropdown menu on Service Agreements, which makes it even harder to find what I need.

All in one solution

Pros

I like that I can track jobs in real time and use the reports to make better business decisions. This is an all-in-one platform that covers scheduling, dispatching, job management and reporting.

Cons

Some parts of the software could definitely use more customization options. The platform works well but it can take some time to learn for those who are not already familiar with it.

Great experience with Buildops

Smooth and efficient solution

Pros

Data entry is set up to be as efficient as possible. I can add line items quickly without having to click through multiple windows which saves a ton of time.

Cons

Sometimes, the loading takes longer than expected which can be a bit annoying.
