“Made our fieldwork difficult and stressful

Pros

I appreciated that the software wasn't too big, so it didn't take up precious space on our devices with limited storage. The interface was also really user-friendly and I got the hang of it very quickly.

Cons

We had way too many instances of data getting lost in the system. Despite troubleshooting, we couldn't figure out if it was our devices or the software causing the issue. In the end, we had to redeploy to the same sites to recollect the data which messed up some parts of our assessments.

“Extra help in the field

Pros

What I like the most was how easily it worked across so many devices. My first time using FieldData was on a project with a tight budget that couldn't afford fancy devices for data collection. Luckily, we found FieldData which worked perfectly on basic mobile devices and still provided tons of great features for managing our data.

Cons

In areas with slow internet, we really struggled to send data back to our central base for verification. There were even times when data was lost because it hadn't been sent from the mobile devices. The log info for editing forms and timesheets wasn't great either, so we couldn't track if forms had been tampered with or when changes were last made.

Pros

It's super interactive and uses top-notch technology.

Cons

No cons at all. It's really simple and the mobile app feature makes it easy to use in the field.
