“Flashtract is Fabulous

Pros

The billing process has become much simpler with this software. After a brief tutorial with their excellent support team, I found it very intuitive. Overall, I'm very happy with our company's switch to Flashtract.

Cons

We're quite new to this software, so I don't have any drawbacks to mention right now.

“Easier Construction Billing

Pros

Flashtract lets us pay our subcontractors faster by cutting the time we used to spend fixing pay-application issues each pay period. The process is now streamlined and far more efficient. Flashtract's team is extremely helpful and dedicated to their product and its improvements, consistently finding ways to help us better use their software.

Cons

It would be great if Flashtact could add a feature like a "filing cabinet" for all the documents submitted for a vendor on a project. This would simplify finding past documents like insurance certificates that we might need to check occasionally.

Pros

No more missing documents! No more indecipherable figures! No more illegible print! No more miscalculations or unauthorized billings! From project setup to subcontractor submission to Project Managers' approval, Flashtract has streamlined the Pay Application billing process for everyone involved. Customer service is excellent, and technical support is prompt and efficient.

Cons

I haven't found any areas that need enhancements.

“Simplifying PayApp Processing

Pros

Even though I've only used it for a short time, I'm very impressed with the Flashtract team's willingness to address any issues, questions, or suggestions for minor changes. Their support team have been outstanding. I look forward to learning more to teach and train our staff and vendors.

Cons

There are minor adjustments that could improve the document delivery (drag and drop pdf). Some documents in the combined file have formatting issues, but I know those are currently being addressed.

“Fantastic Program

Pros

Overall, it has been a wonderful experience. Great people to work with, always available and willing to help if any questions arise. The streamlined process is simple and easy to understand.

Cons

The only downside is that Flashtract doesn't integrate with SAGE 100, which our company uses.

Pros

The company is growing and the software is developing rapidly. They are very eager to make their product fit our company's needs. It has been an absolute pleasure working with the entire team. They truly understand customer care, providing strong support during and after purchase. They genuinely want you to get the most out of their product and listen to your needs. We tested more expensive software, which was cumbersome, overly complicated, and exorbitantly priced. The larger, well-known software companies were more interested in our money than in our satisfaction or success. Flashtract has been focused on our needs from day one.

Cons

I can't pinpoint anything I dislike about the software. Any issues we've encountered weren't software-related but rather features we wanted to be customized for our company's needs. The Flashtract team actually listened and worked to incorporate these changes. Very supportive team.

“2020? - Bright spot was implementing FLASHTRACT

Pros

Time is money. This software lets me handle more projects and tasks by reducing the time spent collecting and approving pay applications.

Cons

The dashboard is very informative, though the Reports Module could be updated to provide more valuable information for Project Management use.

Saying our experience with Flashtract has been outstanding is an understatement. Our subcontractors and internal team have received top-notch customer service and training. Since partnering with Flashtract, we've seen the platform evolve to meet not just our needs but also industry needs. The Flashtract team is always looking for ways to improve and eliminate inefficiencies in the construction billing process. The platform is very intuitive, and we've received only positive feedback from our subcontractors. We're excited and happy to be part of this journey.

As we get more familiar with Flashtract, we'd like to integrate our accounting software with Flashtract's platform.

Pros

Our subcontractors find Flashtract easier to use compared to the Excel documents we used before.

Cons

I'd prefer the pay applications to be PDFs instead of Excel documents.

Flashtract helps process subcontractor billings quickly and accurately.

We use Sage 100, which doesn't communicate directly with Flashtract. It would be nice if it could import information directly to Sage for us.

Pros

We're still working through a prototype, so there are details to sort out before it goes live on all our projects. However, so far, the Flashtract team has gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition, providing quick responses and resolutions to my questions and those from remote users of the platform.

Cons

I'd like to see a detailed document list per contract within the project.

Pros

The experience has been great. The subcontractor pay application approval process used to be very cumbersome and time-consuming before we implemented Flashtract. It has saved us a tremendous amount of time.

Cons

Some of the colors are confusing; the meanings of the red and green colors can be misleading.

Pros

Nothing can be missed with the traditional way of submitting a pay app. All waivers are required, making our team's job easier.

Cons

I'd like an option for our template when we add new jobs. Currently, we have to manage controlled and uncontrolled manually. Other than that, I love Flashtract.
