“Great choice”
Pros
I believe it would be an excellent product since it eliminates the need for hands, termites, and other issues.

“Good Software and Service - Android App Needs Minor Tweaks”
Pros
It's simpleto use and plan grid missions. The app interface is very appealing.
Cons
The Android app needs updates for the latest version of Android as it occasionally crashes. However, it runs smoothly on my older Android devices.

“Overall solid platform”
Pros
I primarily used Ground Control for ortho mapping. I subscribed to the monthly plan when I had sufficient work. As the demand for ortho decreased, I switched to the free plan temporarily. I appreciate GC for this flexibility, and it's a key reason for my loyalty to the product. I plan to return to the paid subscription soon.
Cons
There are few drawbacks except for some glitches with the GC interface displaying ortho maps from Pix4D. A simple fix is to go directly to the Pix4D interface to view the maps and use the tools. It would be great if I could reliably use the GC interface for viewing compiled maps, as its design is straightforward and professional.

“Ground Control”
Pros
The biggest advantage was the cost. It appears to be much cheaper than other systems I've considered.
Cons
Operating it can be a bit tricky. While the aircraft control interface is good, the process of loading files for control could be more intuitive.

“Excellent platform, could use some minor tweaks.”
Pros
The website is pretty intuitive, and I managed to navigate most of it independently with minimal help.
Cons
With the landing page showing flight plans for every user in the company, navigation sometimes got cumbersome. It would be a great improvement if we could filter out only the flight plans or data files we're interested in.

“Measure Ground Control”
Pros
When discussing this product, referring to it as "Measure Ground Control" would minimize confusion and help users locate the app faster. Planning and executing a flight plan was simple, and uploading was smooth!
Cons
I don't think there's 3D functionality. It's been a while since I last used it.

“Ground Control Does the Trick”
Pros
The ease of setup and use are significant benefits. I prefer a small learning curve, and this meets that requirement perfectly. I'm new to the industry but tech-savvy, and I've found this to be very helpful and intuitive. It gets the job done.
Cons
Some of the mapping features were confusing at first.

“Another great aerial photography work flow product”
Pros
The process of setting up and executing flight plans was both swift and uncomplicated. I was able to quickly configure the necessary parameters and execute the plans without encountering any significant challenges. This efficiency in preparation and implementation made the overall experience smooth and hassle-free.
Cons
Many other software packages let you use the software for free and then charge for data analysis.

“The Jury is Still Out...”
Pros
Ease of use is my top pro. Users just upload their drone images, and the software handles the rest.
Cons
What I like the least is the quality of the product. In my opinion, the quality is mediocre at best. Although a lot of "data" is provided back to me, it often lacks what I'd call "quality control."

“Great so far...”
Pros
I appreciate how everything I need is integrated into one software.
Cons
My only complaint so far is that although they advertise LAANC authorization, it's really just a link to Airmap. I find that a bit misleading.

“Whoops!”
Pros
I liked that the interface seemed user-friendly.
Cons
I wasn't informed that I needed to sign in to the DJI App on Measure Ground Control every single time and sign in to Airmaps to get clearance around some Geofences. The company I was flying for blamed me for this and hasn't hired me again since, even though they knew I hadn't used Ground Control before.

“First deployment for a Golf Course.”
Pros
Setting it up on the computer with waypoints was really simple. It performed as intended during the flight. The map turned out well except for a few problem areas mentioned below.
Cons
I had issues with the camera not loading properly when launching. I could fly the map, but the video wouldn't show on my iPad, only the drone's path on the map. I had to reset my drone and iPad every time I changed the battery, which was frustrating. After capturing all the course pictures, there was an area in the middle where the photos were overexposed compared to the rest. When uploading the pictures, I had to use the computer; otherwise, it would time out and I'd have to restart the upload. Additionally, the drone's height setting for the map was problematic. At 60M, it cut off half of the mapped area, and wouldn't take more pictures. At 90M, it covered the entire map. These issues made the process quite frustrating.

“the data sets didnt marry up”
Pros
Relatively easy to use, reasonably priced, and provides good drone control for various options.
Cons
The two data sets I used should have overlapped but didn't, resulting in a 14m discrepancy. This was useless. Clear deliverables that are actually useful for the client are needed; otherwise, it's just a nice-looking picture.

“Worked Great”
Pros
This software was very easy to use and more intuitive than other mapping software I've used before. Its free use is an added bonus. I was initially hesitant to let software fly my expensive drone, but Measure Ground Control worked well, and I felt confident my drone would return home safely. I look forward to using MGC more in the future.
Cons

“Save time on Solar installation and pictures”
Pros
This made my design team's work much easier. Despite the cost, it saved a lot of time in installation and design. No more climbing on roofs with a tape measure in the wind. Using a drone saves time!
Cons
The ortho photos are sometimes low quality. I need to contact Ground Control for training on how to upload them properly.
