Cons

Pros
I fully appreciate how it centralizes everything especially with the Xero integration. Data entry is easy and doesn't feel like a issue.
Cons
If I make a mistake, there's no way to edit it and I have to delete everything and start over. I really wish there was an option to make amendments.

Pros
I love being able to upload budgets and match invoices against them and it keeps me updated on both current and projected job costs without having to sift through spreadsheets.
Cons
I'm not a fan of how they structure pricing around small, medium or large projects, though the option I chose ended up meeting all my needs perfectly.

“Good costing tool with excellent support
Pros
I find it really easy to use and it gives me excellent visibility into budget management. The Xero integration is awesome since it keeps all my accounting data synced with project details. Recent updates have made a big difference and placing purchase orders and handling valuations is much smoother now and managing subcontractors is way more efficient. The invoice upload process works smoothly and once I approve documents, they get sent straight to Xero without any extra steps. It really saves time on the admin side. What impresses me the most is how responsive the development team is and they actually listen to user feedback and implement improvements super quickly. The support team is really knowledgeable and always provides helpful solutions when I need them.
Cons
The way it combines cost information, I mean both what's invoiced and what's actually spent and could definitely use some work. But I hear they're planning improvements for this feature.

My favorite part is how logical and user-friendly the layout is. It's genuinely easy to use and saves me tons of time by handling all the complex calculations. It's so well organized that it keeps everyone on the same page, and you can even tweak it to highlight the info that's most important to you. It's incredibly simple and you can figure it out without a manual and it quickly starts to feel like you've been using it for years.

Support is top-notch because you're talking directly to the developers who built the thing not a call center. The software itself eliminates the huge headache of manual data entry and gives you a crystal-clear, visual overview of your construction budgets. The link with Xero is a game-changer, keeping our books perfectly in sync with our actual spending.
Cons
We've had a few minor gripes about certain features over time but the Planyard team has been amazing at listening to feedback. They've improved the product so quickly it feels almost real-time. As it keeps evolving it just gets better and better suited for our needs and has become absolutely essential to our workflow.

Pros
We searched for a long time for a tool that could handle our entire workflow and this was the perfect solution. We can now create estimates, send out bid requests, compare prices, place orders and track progress... all in one place! It keeps our project finances accurate and completely current.
Cons
We'd love to see a better tool for managing specification sheets and it sounds like they're planning to start developing that soon so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

“Massive time-saver with great support
Pros
The automation is a massive time-saver that slashes data entry and wipes out those common errors we'd always get with spreadsheets. Having instant access to data makes controlling costs and making decisions incredibly fast. It frees up our senior staff to focus on high-value work instead of getting stuck updating spreadsheets. Plus if a team member leaves, their replacement can pick up right where they left off without any hassle. It's also fantastic for getting client approvals on changes much faster and the team is always rolling out useful new features.
Cons
My only real regret is that I didn't find this software sooner! Some of the terms were a little confusing at first but they've since updated them and now there's a helpful explanation for pretty much every field. The support team is also fantastic and always ready to answer any questions.
