My main frustration is with the customer support. I'm paying an annual fee for service that is not up to par. When I got a new computer, arranging the software transfer was a real hassle. It often feels like once you've signed up, you're no longer a priority. Plus, the customer number they provide is totally ineffective.

The customer support was good for quick questions and help with the program. But since then, updates have messed things up, and they haven't fixed it. This is how I quote jobs for a living, and it's still not resolved.

I'm honestly fed up with working with the program and especially with customer support. It takes two days to get a call from them. They provide a number, but it never gets answered. The trainers are always busy, and if they do call, they're gone in about 15 minutes. Today, 03/23/21, the system isn't connecting to the database, so it's completely unusable. I asked for help yesterday morning, emailed all the trainers I know, but got no replies or callbacks.

I've never experienced worse customer support.

What a fantastic product! Moving from manual takeoff to this is a huge improvement. I make far fewer mistakes because I can color-code everything and get precise counts on each type of fixture, how many feet of pipe, fittings, and their current cost. I can confidently place an order with my supplier knowing I didn't overlook anything.

Cons

It's pricey, so if you don't use it often, it might not be worth it. But if you use it weekly, the time it saves you will make up for the cost.

We switched from an older estimation system, and the QuoteSoft system makes starting new jobs and customizing reports much easier.

Setting up the software to match your specific needs takes some time. The preset standards are a decent starting point, but customizations really enhance its performance. There are almost too many customization options available.

Getting started with the software takes a bit of time. The key access only lets you use the software with the physical key in hand. I wish it were a server-based version with a set number of seats so you wouldn't need to carry the key when working from a different computer.

My only issue is the time difference. I'm in Pennsylvania, and there's a three-hour gap. But I've called earlier and was helped by a representative on the East Coast.
