“Brings together document storage, scheduling, accounting
Pros
We looked at a bunch of project management tools to simplify how we work. We had been juggling multiple apps which led to mix-ups between our field crews and subs. Paskr brought together document storage, scheduling, accounting and project management into one place. Their customer support has been outstanding and super responsive and helpful overall.
Cons
Having used the software for several weeks, we ran into a handful of minor issues that I think could use improvement. For example, the mobile app signs you out every time you close and forces a fresh login on each launch. We're also stuck with the system's default numbering for RFIs and submittals which limits flexibility. The tool performs best when the design team and all subcontractors fully embrace it. If a subcontractor opts out, we can work around it but manually typing their entries is often tedious and time-consuming.

“User-friendly platform
Pros
Overall the platform is quite user-friendly and has helped us cut both time and costs over the years by organizing the various steps needed to finish a project.
Cons
We've had our site taken offline multiple times without any warning because a payment was recorded as late, even though we mailed it on time. Since our CFO likes to use paper checks, there ought to be a longer grace period or at minimum someone calling us before cutting access. That lack of communication has caused headaches more than once. There are also some small usability quirks although Paskr has been making fixes, I still miss the old username setup when people could pick their own handles instead of being forced to log in with their email addresses. Another annoyance is that several menus sit so close together that it's tricky to hover over the one I want without accidentally opening an adjacent dropdown, whether it's beside, above or below the intended menu. Overall these friction points are inconvenient and could be smoothed out.

“Simple to go through the plans
Pros
I'm impressed by how easy it is for me to go through the plans that have been uploaded for bidding.
Cons
When our team first got introduced to the site, we ran into trouble with the login details which was frustrating at the time but after resolving that issue it has been pretty simple to use and now I have my credentials saved so I don't have to sign in repeatedly.

“Excellent sub billing feature
Pros
For our team, the thing I value most is the sub and owner billing. I can now complete owner billings in just a few minutes whereas previously it used to take several hours. The sub billing feature is also excellent and aligns nicely with our internal accounting practices.
Cons
What I appreciate most about this product is how user-friendly it is. I've consistently received excellent customer service and support and the team always goes the extra mile to help. So I can't complain.

“Frequent new updates
Pros
It has been an outstanding piece of software for us though it does take time to become comfortable with all of its features and even after a year we still uncover new capabilities. I appreciate how the Paskr team continually rolls out updates designed to make life easier for general contractors. It feels like they truly get our day-to-day because many of them have worked in our shoes before creating the product. Their support staff is unparalleled, responding day or night without complaint and they genuinely root for contractors to succeed. I really think they believe in what they've built and that shines through. Admittedly, mastering the ins and outs takes commitment but the payoff for our workflow and project management has been well worth it.
Cons
Don't really have major complaints. The main challenge we face is getting our subcontractors to adopt the platform. In fairness, that isn't a failure of Paskr. They've even offered to speak directly with our subs to help bring them on board. Many of the more seasoned contractors resist change which makes adoption slow but once they start using it they often discover it reduces costs and simplifies processes. The subcontractors who do give it a try generally end up loving it.

“Brilliant support
Pros
The billing and approval flow for subcontractor invoices is entirely electronic. After the subs do it once, the whole thing becomes fast and painless. I also appreciate being able to send bid invites and monitor where everything stands. Their customer support is amazing. Whenever something breaks or I need guidance I get assistance. I absolutely love the chat window so much.
Cons
I often run into little "hiccups" with the system, like random billing number errors and other odd glitches. Sometimes it's on me and other times it needs intervention from the tech team. I find myself clearing browser history, double-checking that I'm on the recommended browser or blaming the general flakiness of the internet that day. Those interruptions can be really aggravating because they stall my work when I need to move quickly but in my experience the support team is available and usually responds fast to get things sorted. One persistent annoyance is the Drawing sorting feature. I dislike that I can only move one drawing at a time. It drags on forever and I'd love to be able to rearrange several at once.

“Easy to work with
Pros
This software feels very user-friendly and is simple to work with. I also find the vendor easy to reach and they provide useful consultation support.
Cons
I dislike having to link subcontractors to a specific trade because it can complicate scheduling and reduces flexibility in our projects.

“Well structured interface
Pros
I find the interface easy to handle but the contacts feature definitely needs work. Since they changed it, my contacts don't seem to function properly anymore.
Cons
Setting up contacts has been confusing and I still haven't figured out the scheduling feature. I need someone to help me learn how to schedule.

“Quick responses
Pros
Their customer service responds quickly and their bidding module operates very efficiently.
Cons
One drawback I've run into is that I can't approve COs out of sequence. Adding an automatic renumbering feature would be a helpful improvement.

“Positive experience overall
Pros
We rely on PASKR to pull in all subcontractor billing into QuickBooks, even in cases where the vendor hasn't yet been added to our QuickBooks file. I appreciate the budget import feature to QB because it helps our team work more efficiently and stay coordinated. We also decided to bring in the item list so we could assign cost codes to every invoice more accurately. When we encountered invoices in QuickBooks that were using old QB cost codes, it was simple to fix them by hand. Overall my experiences have been excellent and it's been a solid addition to our workflow.
Cons
As a new customer with a mostly new setup, I'm hoping the training could be more customized for our situation. It's less about bugs in the product and more about the challenge of onboarding a lot of employees who are all comfortable at different skill levels. After talking with several of our newer team members, we've all agreed that we would benefit from training that's available on demand, right when people need it, instead of scheduling everything before they start using the tools. From my experience, people remember things much better when the learning happens at the moment of need. If the information is delivered too early, it's unlikely to stick.

“automates routine processes
Pros
We travel all over the country to work at various airports and this software allows our team to complete and manage tasks wherever we're assigned. By automating a lot of routine daily processes, it has helped cut down the number of staff needed in our office.
Cons
My biggest frustration is how it connects with accounting software, the integrations aren't as smooth as we'd like. That said I've noticed they pay attention to customer feedback and are actively building new connectors for a number of accounting systems.

“Well designed
Pros
Looking back, I can tell they've considered nearly every detail you could want. Honestly I wish this had been available a decade ago because it would have saved us so much effort. The support crew has gone above and beyond to ensure we grasp the system and get maximum value from it. From my experience, it seems genuinely invested in teaching customers how to use the platform, not just selling it. They run web seminars and post recordings you can watch later and they don't just leave you to fend for yourself. That is refreshing and I appreciate it.
Cons
Personally, the chat help isn't available around the clock which can be inconvenient. I'd also prefer vendors to be able to bill directly against a PO although there's a viable workaround for now. From what I've heard, they're already developing that capability.

“Turns anything into a manageable format
Pros
RedTeam takes 16-division commercial construction and shapes it into a user-friendly structure that anyone can work with. I can set these divisions to be as simple or as intricate as I need.
Cons

“Lets me collaborate with subcontractors and clients
Pros
I'm impressed with how it lets me collaborate with subcontractors and clients/architects.
Cons
One thing I always watch out for is setting up cost codes because once they're in use I can't change them. I've noticed a few bugs that are supposedly being fixed. Also it forces a lot of mouse clicking. I wish there were more keyboard shortcuts and the sales tax calculations still need fixing.

“One of the top choices
Pros
I appreciate the low upfront cost. The fee is applied at the project level instead of being buried in general overhead which I find very fair. There are no long-term contracts tied to the service. Their customer service is exceptional. Every call and email is returned promptly, usually much faster than I expect. The learning curve was very short for me. It feels as user-friendly to operate as any app I use on my iPad. If needed, their programming team will customize the software for a reasonable fee. The reports produce critical information for our management that we were never able to access before. It provides total oversight of my company employees and has an excellent document control system from bidding through closeout.
Cons
I don't expect any system to be flawless and fulfill every single construction management need but in my view this one ranks among the top three options out there. It won't be 100% perfect for every possible function yet it comes very close in most areas and I consider it to be one of the leaders in the space.
