“Integrates well with QuickBooks
Pros
As a contractor, I appreciate that this was built by someone in my trade. The training and customer support have been superb and it integrates with QuickBooks.
Cons
What I find lacking is that the timesheet function doesn't include a GPS timestamp to confirm where I am when I submit a timesheet or check in on the mobile app.

“Not impressed with the invoicing
Pros
It performs basic math. It can add, subtract and calculate percentages yet that's not a huge selling point for me. Honestly I don't like this program at all. It might suit a general contractor but as a subcontractor I'm not impressed. I'll be passing on Paskr billing for future jobs!
Cons
With this system I'm essentially at the mercy of the general contractor, who ends up deciding when I'm allowed to bill which frustrates me. I prefer to submit invoices as soon as I finish a job, rather than waiting two weeks until everyone else is finished. Why can't we have standard, simple invoicing?

“Tidy interface
Pros
As a site superintendent, I find the interface excellent as it really saves me a lot of time. I use it for everything, from setting up jobs and handling bids to guiding a project all the way through to closeout and it feels very powerful across the whole workflow. Being able to access it online from anywhere makes my days a lot easier. Overall it's a great app for site superintendents like me.
Cons
At first, I did find the submittals area a bit confusing and it took some time to get comfortable with it. I also wish there was a custom report writer so I could tweak some of the reports to better match our needs.

Pros
I find it non-intimidating. The screens only ask for the basic information needed. I don't have to upload documents.
Cons
Since I only access it a few times a year, I tend to forget one simple step, clicking on Project Status first, unfortunately.

Pros
I didn't find anything particularly remarkable. It felt like a fairly average product overall. I appreciated that they offered a free trial which was a nice touch.
Cons
There wasn't much to write home about. It felt average and I've seen other products on the market that provide better functionality.

I like that it's portable and lets me get to my projects from anywhere at any time and I appreciate how it strips away unnecessary bells and whistles to concentrate on the core project management needs.
Cons
While working on site I find it a bit buggy to edit drawings directly though I understand it may be intentional since those drawings are official documents and not something anyone should casually modify.

“amazing estimating tools
Pros
The bid process and estimating tools work well and I rely on the change order and RFI tracking as well as the daily logs. There are still a lot of features we have not been able to try out yet.
Cons
I've found the schedule feature to be clunky. Moving items around on the screen is awkward and it doesn't always reflect changes from the daily logs correctly. Client-facing parts aren't very user-friendly and notifications have failed. I stopped getting them and my clients aren't receiving them either.

“Organizes project management
Pros
My experience is that it really organizes project management and saves me a lot of time. I don't need to re-enter the same details across different documents anymore which is a huge relief. It also provides several reports that let me follow a project's progress and monitor shifts in profitability. Preparing bills each month has been simple.
Cons
I find the scheduling module really hard to work with and the link between the schedule and daily job logs needs improvement. It's a pain having to approve every single schedule change on its own which eats up a lot of time especially because the screen keeps refreshing during the process.

I appreciate that it's web-based software with online support available.
Cons
However I find the software quite rigid when it comes to customization. I can't easily adjust it to individual jobs or adjust it across our company (since not every feature applies to all general contractors) and it also feels like several modules are still incomplete.

Its really easy to use and I can get to it from anywhere with an internet connection.
Cons
At my company, we often have to assign several contracts to a single cost code because our accounting tracks funds by cost code and unfortunately this software doesn't let us do that.

It includes all the key and essential features required for virtually any kind of project.
Cons
Honestly the dashboard is a bit complex and it stops one person from having access to all project functions. As the owner, I should be able to override those limits.

Pros
The system is cloud-based and really covers all parts of our projects, including tracking every view of drawings and similar files. When we need a customized report, they'll produce it for us (they charge a small fee) and I can also build unit cost lists for budget planning.
Cons
My main issue is the estimating module. It could use improvements and I wish it would sync directly with Peachtree accounting. Also if I'm handling a lot of projects the fees and add-ons start to pile up and the overall costs become significant.

All of my project data is kept in a single location and the interface presents a polished, professional appearance.
Cons
There are a number of tasks that are locked until previous steps are completed which can be frustrating. I also find it difficult to modify certain details for example, changing document numbering isn't simple. I can't attach sub-quotes to RFPs or include Change Orders when sending packages to owners and on a few occasions the support staff didn't seem to have the answers I needed.
