“Perfect for the beginners

Pros

It offers good customer service and I am quite impressed with the GPS tracking. Also it works with Gusto too.

Cons

Here are the four main issues I have noticed, I can't separate two parts of the company when using the laptop or iPhone view for the employees side. Second app allows employees to clock in while they are driving, and that is just not ok. Thirdly it is surprising that there's no internal messaging system in the app. A basic feature thats missing. Laslty The app only shows the current phone battery percentage, but I want to see the battery level at the start of the day when they clocked in and the current level. That way, I can track how much they have been using their phone.

Pros

What I really like the most are the Clock in/out feature and GPS tracking. They're incredibly useful for monitoring time and location, making it easy to manage and verify my team's work hours and whereabouts.

Cons

I wish I didn't have to allocate time twice for an employee on a registered project. Plus battery usage is an issue too.

“Absolutely fantastic...

Pros

I really enjoy being able to view my team in real-time. And as a small business, it's great for billing because I can look back and see how long they were on site.

Cons

There's a noticeable delay because of the poor service in our area, which affects the app's performance. This lag can be quite frustrating and impacts the overall efficiency of using the app.

Workyard is so easy to use, which makes it pretty easy for us to integrate into our daily tasks without any issue.

I have no complaints as it's a great app for time tracking.

“I am very pleased as a customer

Pros

I really like how easy it is to track our employees time and their accuracy on the job. Plus time clock feature is quite helpful because it lets us provide a clear and accurate breakdown of billable hours to our clients. Since most of our services are billed by the hour instead of by the job, this feature makes a big difference for us.

Cons

The only thing that I hate is the deactivation and reactivation of an employee. Also I've had trouble rehiring someone and getting their status back up properly on their phone. I've also had issues with setting up employees who have replaced their phones and can't get the app to work on their new device. Even though this might be more of a user issue than a Workyard problem.

“Easy to set up and use

Pros

Setting up and using it daily is so easy for our employees. It also saves a lot of time for our admin team.

Cons

It's a bit pricey, but the time we save makes up for the cost.

Pros

The GPS feature provides detailed tracking of the locations where employees clock in and out. It records their exact entry and exit points, giving me a clear view of their movements throughout the day.

One thing I found quite difficult is to compare the times recorded by different employees working on the same job.

I did rate my overall experience a solid 10 out of 10. Customer support was quick to respond, and I am excited to keep doing business with you all. Thanks a lot for the help. I really like being able to track my money as how it's being spent, what it's going toward and even the hours spent on driving. Plus, I can monitor my employees to make sure they are staying on task and not milking the clock. In short it is been a great experience so far!

Cons

The one thing that really annoys me is that my jobs randomly disappear. I keep having to recreate them, which frustrates me. Plus my team keeps telling me they can't clock in because they cannot find the job.

Workyard's interface is user-friendly and it's intuitive design makes it quite easy to use the platform and find whatever I need quickly and without any hassle.

Cons

One downside I noticed is that Workyard does not work in all regions, which can make it difficult for users in certain areas to access it.

“Perfect for my business needs

Pros

Workyard has totally exceeded my expectations. I love how images are uploaded for each job, so I can actually see the progress. Plus, I can track expenses and notes for every job, which makes things so much easier. And if we don't finish a job, the guys leave notes about where they left off and there's always open communication between everyone.

Cons

Notifications pop up on my phone app, but when I check, there's nothing to explain what the notification is about.

Pros

Workyard does an exceptional job of organizing both time and employees. The system very well manages work schedules, tracks time logs and coordinates staff assignments, making it easy for all of us to keep everything running smoothly.

Cons

I'm unable to export subcontractor hours to Gusto, which complicates the payroll process. This lack of integration means I have to manually enter the hours, adding extra work and potential for errors.

“Meets all our construction tracking needs

It's been really simple for our employees to use and is easy to customize to fit our needs.

Cons

I'd like more options to require lunch breaks for certain projects each day or to restrict overtime without prior approval.

Pros

I really like the customization options and job cost tracking in Workyard. Plus with it I can set individual employee permissions and use geofence tracking as needed. The option to allocate time and money for each job in detail has been a huge time-saver for me, and it helps us make more accurate business decisions. Also the organizational settings make the app perfect for a wide range of industries. Above all, the platform is easy to use and pretty much guides you through everything on its own and if I ever need help, a real person from customer support is always ready to assist.

Cons

If I had to suggest any improvements, I would say I did really love to see better task and schedule management. Plus it would be very helpful to have mobile notifications or task options for high-priority items, and reminders for due dates. A customizable, mobile-friendly task list that lets me check things off as I go would be perfect too.

“Our fav tracking application

Pros

I really love how easy it is to use and the support I got. Instead of just being sent to a video to figure things out on my own, someone actually walked me through it, which was amazing. Having someone show me how to make it work for my business made all the difference.

Cons

I'd like to make some features more customizable. Instead of just changing projects, it would be nice to adjust some of those standardized features.

I love the option that I can see where my employees are while working.

Cons

Not all phones work the best because of their own limitations. There are also a few minor bugs here and there, but nothing too major.

“Easy to use and train our staff

Pros

Workyard was easy to set up, which I really liked. Also, it is unproblematic to train our current staff on how to use it. Setting up geo-fencing for projects is simple too.

Cons

There is not anything major that I dislike about this software.

Being able to verify if and when someone has arrived for work is proven to be very really useful for us.

I feel like it would be great if the system could automatically clock employees out after hours.

Since I started using Workyard, tracking my crew's hours has become so much easier. Also I can break down job costs and bill each client with GPS accuracy. Plus the platform is really user-friendly and whenever I need help, customer service is quick and responsive.

Pros

Navigating the website is quite easy, and the customer service is outstanding. Plus it is effortless to find what I need and whenever I have questions or issues, the support team is always responsive and helpful.

Cons

It's frustrating when the site freezes, and I can't enter job numbers. Navigating past jobs could also be better as it would be so much easier if I could see jobs for the whole month instead of having to click on each specific day.

“Workyard exceeds expectations

Pros

Tracking my employees time and scheduling has been so much easier with this app. I have tried other time card apps designed for construction, but they were a hassle to use on the admin side. This one has been wonderful.

Cons

I'm not comfortable stating what I like least about the app at the moment. I've only been using it for a short time and don't yet know enough to say what I like or dislike.
