Great for creating integrated solutions

Pros

It brings together CMS, digital marketing and e-commerce tools in one platform, making it a great all-in-one solution for businesses.

Cons

While the basic features are easy to use, I noticed that more advanced tools like marketing automation require training or specialized knowledge.

Doesn't meet most enterprise email marketing needs

Pros

I do not have much to praise but it does attempt to replicate features found in more popular ESPs.

Cons

There is no connection between their CMS and Email Marketing Platform. Also the UI feels clunky and is not as user-friendly or as feature-rich as other more popular ESPs I come across.

Company you can't count on

Pros

There is only one good thing about it and that is the CMS was designed to be simple enough for non-technical employees to use.

Cons

Their business practices are a concern. We started with them five years ago and now they have stopped supporting it. They raise prices by more than 20% each year and push for long-term contracts even though their product only works well for a couple of years.

Pricey yet valuable

Pros

Kentico is very flexible, offering a wide range of tools to edit websites, manage customers with its CRM, send email campaigns, automate messages and create personalized content. While it takes some training, it delivers a great experience once you know the basics. We have seen big improvements in website speed and increases in our monthly users, session duration and more.

Cons

The cost can be a barrier for smaller businesses trying to take advantage of it. There is also a learning curve, meaning very few people can jump into the backend and immediately understand what they're seeing. Occasionally tools like the scheduler malfunction and it does not publish or unpublish content as expected.

Great software

Pros

Its integrated features allow for the quick and efficient creation and management of websites, saving us a lot of time.

Cons

While the user interface is friendly, new users unfamiliar with its advanced features may face a bit of a learning curve. Also I feel like it can be more expensive than some other CMS options on the market especially for small businesses or low-budget projects.

Budget-friendly option available

Pros

I find it affordable for an enterprise-level CMS and since it is built on .net, it is easy to extend and customize.

Cons

The out of the box services lack certain built-in features like page cache clearing and builders which we end up having to create ourselves.

Fully equipped for enterprise use

Pros

As an agency we have been using Kentico Xperience for years. It is a powerful DXP that combines content management, digital marketing (including automation) and e-commerce, available both in the cloud and on-premise. Now on .NET 6 previously Core it meets the needs of large enterprises and integrates with almost anything. This is a huge advantage for us. It lets us recommend a comprehensive platform that connects seamlessly with existing systems and supports content, marketing and experience needs. Also it is easy to explain the benefits to clients, showing how capable the platform is. Overall it is user-friendly, easy to develop for and scalable exactly what clients need.

Cons

Since we have been using the platform for a long time, we are very familiar with it and there are very few drawbacks which are not worth mentioning. Because its 24/7 support is incredibly fast when issues arise and they work closely with the team to find a solution. A detailed roadmap and release schedule help prevent any surprises, allowing us to plan both technically and when managing client expectations.
