“Excellent Manufacturing Solution
Pros
The inventory system is honestly one of the finest I've worked with and it really impressed by how well it handles everything.
Cons
Reports feel very basic and aren't really built for accounting purposes. You'll need Crystal knowledge to customize or create your own reports.

“My experience with M1
Pros
The layout is really amazing and I can go through between sections without any issue.
Cons
The fields can be very restrictive when your trying to input certain information. Plus it feels like every single change we want to make comes with some kind of modification charge, which gets expensive.

“Best manufacturing solution right away
Pros
It's very user friendly and I love how the right-click options make everything so much faster to access.
Cons
It has quite a few bugs and there's really no way to fix them yourself.

“Affordable ERP Solution for Manufacturers
Pros
The SQL database design is really elegant and makes it simple for regular users to pull and analyze data for smart business decisions. What I appreciate most is how the on-premise setup allows for customization without messing with the core product integrity , perfect for businesses with unique needs.
Cons
The cloud version doesn't give you much flexibility to tailor things for your specific business needs.

“My choice for seven years
Pros
After switching ERP systems multiple times, I knew we'd face tons of software modifications to fit our workflow. What impressed me was the relational database design and it's really well thought out. The data dictionary is comprehensive and easy to use, plus Design Studio makes customizing forms and code simple. Adding or modifying tables doesn't feel like a headache and when things go wrong, their software support actually helps. Data Manager was a game changer for our migration and we could export from our old system to Excel, then import everything into the new table setup. The whole transition happened over one weekend and we were operational by Monday morning.
Cons
Upgrading to the newer version turned out to be way more complicated than I anticipated. While the basic features migrated smoothly, all my customized tables and code needed extensive repairs to get back to the same functionality. Several custom forms and reports completely broke and some had to be rebuilt from scratch. The switch to .net framework really messed up forms I'd carefully configured for optimal workflow. What made it worse was the lack of proper documentation, unlike the previous version which had excellent user guides, this one left me figuring things out on my own. The form flow changed completely without any tutorials showing how to restore my customized setup while keeping access to the new features.

“Excellent solution
Pros
The customization options are fantastic and make pulling data very easy. Everything feels transparent and moving between departments has become so much smoother compared to juggling multiple programs like we used to. Going paperless with it has really simplified my daily workflow.
Cons
We don't have anyone on staff who can write code, so customizations end up costing us extra. Since our company treats whole sales orders as individual jobs, the clock-in/clock-out process for shop floor entry gets pretty cumbersome.

“Amazing software and great company
Pros
Our implementer was fantastic and the ongoing support from ECI over these past 5 years has been excellent. This software handles everything from quotes all the way through to payment processing. What I really appreciate is how easily it can be customized to fit our specific business needs perfectly.
Cons
The removal of the red button in V9 really bothers me and I miss having the pop-up messages that disappeared with this version.

“Bestpartnership over the years
Pros
What I find most valuable is the customization. I can develop and adjust managerial tools like forms, grids and reports analysis as an administrator. It really helps us handle the most critical supply chain tasks. The interface is userfriendly and interactive which makes everything easier. M1 lets me track product flow throughout our entire supply chain, covering everything from purchasing to shipping, including inventory, production and scheduling.
Cons
While the extensive customization options are powerful, they can actually become problematic during migrations. You really need careful management and close support from M1 specialists to handle it properly, otherwise things can get messy pretty quickly.
