The management side of the software can be clunky and confusing. There are so many menus within menus and it's really easy to get lost.

Overall, It really helps us archive our daily lectures which is essential for our residents' education.
Cons
It can be tough for my colleagues to take over my admin duties with MediaSite but it's something that could be improved.

What I love most about the this Platform is how easy it is to use. The step-by-step guides are very helpful and it creates awesome videos.
Cons

“We chose to switch away
Pros
My first job when I started was to migrate content from MediaSite to our new server. It took about two weeks to figure out how to find "hidden" names to sort and rename videos for upload. If they've made major updates to the platform, I'd love to hear what's changed, as the quality was good back then.
Cons
The automatic names were so hard to use, it felt like they were made to make switching away harder.

“Advanced content management for large businesses
Pros
Setting up and configuring the software takes some planning from everyone involved to get it running smoothly. But once it's set up, it's pretty much problem free. Like any self-hosted software, you do need to keep an eye on its health but the customer support is some of the best I've encountered in my 25+ years in IT management.
Cons
I don't have any complaints about this software. It works great for me.
