“powerful parish data tools”
Pros
Managing parish information especially offerings feels very user friendly. Our parish has relied on it for many years and since moving to the cloud-based version and adopting the newer release about a year and a half ago it has been even more helpful and efficient for handling data. I would definitely recommend it to other parishes.
Cons
We've been on the newest upgrade for more than a year now and honestly haven't run into any complaints.

“contributions posting is a huge win”
Pros
Biggest advantage of this software is how simple it is to use. It makes posting contributions both fast and accurate. Before we started using it entering contributions took at least a full day and often a day and a half. Now with this software the whole process takes about an hour.
Cons
The one improvement I'd really like to see is the option to add a new family directly from the detailed contributions posting page. It would save time if we didn't have to exit Contributions, open the Family Directory and then return to Contributions just to finish posting.

Pros
After I got familiar with how the system works it became very simple to use.
Cons
Moving over from PDS took some time and it took a while to learn all the details of the system.

Pros
It's very user friendly and includes all the features we needed in a church management software.
Cons
The only downside is having to sign back in often since it logs me out after around 10 minutes of inactivity.

“support shines, guides don't”
Pros
After we got somewhat used to it the Family Suite became fairly simple to move around in and use.
Cons
However the written instructions are not always user friendly. They can be too long, overly technical and take a lot of time to read or copy. One support representative even told one of our volunteers to "think like a computer." Really? We are people not machines! Some of us are older adults who are not really tech savvy. Every office should have a printed hard copy covering tasks like posting offertories, pulling different reports and adding new families in Family Suite, Sacraments and related areas. Over the years we have had a hard time finding the information we need just to do our jobs. Apart from that the support staff provides top quality customer service.
