Case history tracks technician steps

Pros

Its capability to reassign cases and to see at a glance who is handling each one is amazing. Plus, having a thorough case history that records technician steps and fixes has been particularly helpful for our RCPS workflows.

Cons

In my experience many of the available fields don't apply to our use case and I feel we could manage with a far leaner, more streamlined setup that excludes a lot of unnecessary options.

Easy collaboration across sessions

Pros

This software is very easy to use and it made it simple for our team to include multiple people across lots of different work sessions and collaborations.

Cons

Pros

For my part, I find this to be a very useful tool for speeding up sales cycles and helping our customer service team resolve issues more quickly.

Cons

automation feature is superb

Pros

What I like most about Salesforce is how it gives us a full picture of our customers which makes it much easier to tailor our outreach. The customizable dashboards let our team keep an eye on the metrics that matter and it plugs into the other tools we rely on without fuss. I also like how easy to use the automation features are.

Cons

I do find the platform rather overwhelming at times. There are so many features and configuration choices that getting up to speed can be a real challenge and I have needed to invest a lot of time and formal training before I could use it confidently.

Quick record searches speed work

Pros

It is easy to locate customer records across multiple search areas which speeds up my daily workflow considerably.

Cons

Although I don't have any complaints, we moved our sales operations over to Vinsolutions while I continue to rely on Salesforce for our service department.

great tool overall

Pros

I am impressed by how customizable it is as there are so many settings I can configure.

Cons

While I am trying to learn how to use the product, the learning curve feels pretty steep. I also struggle to manage the many settings and if someone lacks admin permissions it's especially difficult to access the email templates.

Links apps into one ecosystem

Pros

What I really appreciate about Salesforce is how effortlessly it links with a wide range of external apps and tools. I rely on it to bridge marketing automation, accounting and support platforms so my systems act like a single ecosystem and my team's productivity goes up.

Cons

I find the biggest downside is how complex Salesforce can be. despite its rich feature set, the sheer volume of options and settings made it pretty overwhelming when I first started using it and the learning curve has been steep.

Pros

How well it connects with services such as ZoomInfo and Outlook is the best as it makes my workflow smoother.

Cons

From my experience, it can be really frustrating when tasks or emails arrive without assignments because the contact wasn't logged and then I spend too much time hunting them down.

Custom fields, better sales insights

Pros

For our sales team, the single biggest plus has been being able to tailor fields to match exactly what we need. As our sales workflows evolved and the company grew, we needed to fold in a number of new processes and the platform offered so many features that could adapt to those requirements which really helped us stay organized and productive. On top of that, I can build a broad range of reports and those reporting capabilities have been invaluable for diagnosing why sales were lagging and for uncovering practical steps to boost our sales results.

Cons

I find the system quite complex which makes setting up new processes pretty daunting. We frequently end up turning to Trailblazer for guidance and look at templates others have shared but even with those references it's still a real challenge to configure things correctly unless you have specialized technical know-how or support.
