“Quick Access Anywhere
Pros
I really appreciate how simple it is to find contacts when I need them. Placing job orders feels easy and doesn't require much effort. What I particularly like is being able to attach notes directly to each person I speak with, it makes tracking conversations so much easier and keeps everything organized.
Cons
The job jacket layout could be better, having the checks and notifications come after the download section would make more sense. Right now I have to jump around instead of working from top to bottom in a logical flow.

“Comprehensive Publishing Management Platform
Pros
I like the features it provides, especially ads management and digital pagination. The billing and reporting tools are efficient and help me save a lot of time in my daily work.
Cons
Honestly, I can't think of anything bad to say about it so far.

“Convenient Ad Campaign Tracking
Pros
One of the things I appreciate most is being able to log into Magazine Manager and instantly see which ads will appear in our magazine. Beyond just viewing the ads, I can access detailed information like ad dimensions, page placement, specific page numbers and more. Though our company utilizes this software for various functions, I primarily rely on it for tracking Ad Run Sheets.
Cons
I wish I could edit the run sheet directly in the app instead of having to export everything to Excel first. It's also frustrating that I get logged out constantly, this isn't exactly Fort Knox level security we're dealing with here. Besides those issues, there really isn't much else I'd complain about.

“Effecient Operations with Magazine Manager
Pros
This cloud based system is best because it lets me access ad sales data, contacts and production notes from anywhere with internet. It serves as our main hub for sales, accounts receivable, production and HR functions, which makes everything so much more simplifyd. There's also a smartphone app, though it only allows viewing data rather than editing. Their customer service has really improved over the past year and has been excellent. Plus, they offer an impressive library of instructional videos covering a wide range of topics that are incredibly thorough.
Cons
The learning curve here is pretty steep, you'll need serious training to get the most out of it. This definitely isn't for people who get easily distracted or aren't comfortable with technology. Don't expect to jump right in either. They actually require a minimum number of training hours before you can even start using it. There's also quite a bit of setup work your admin team will need to handle, like configuring rate cards, templates and publication schedules, which can feel overwhelming initially. The circulation features are probably the weakest part, they exist but feel outdatedand limited compared to everything else.

“Excellent User Experience Software
Pros
The uptime is really great and I appreciate the webinar training along with those online video tutorials. It's pretty easy to navigate and the email functionality works well. Being able to edit notes when I mess something up is a lifesaver. Real time payment posting keeps everything current and emailing receipts directly saves me time. Everything stays organized and easy to find, which makes tracking my sales progress so much better than what I had before.
Cons
After building up multiple accounts over time, I find it really frustrating that there's no way to tell which account belongs to which customer. Having a last name displayed next to the account info would save so much time instead of having to click through everything just to figure out who's who. Since we use PayPal for payments right now, it would be great if this system could store customer card details when they opt in, our previous system did this and it eliminated the need to keep asking customers for their payment info over and over again.

“Keeps Our Sales Team Informed
Pros
In this software, the wide range of reports are available and it makes them easy to track sales and manage our large team effectively. As an individual salesperson, there's no hiding behind fake productivity when using this system. The way our leadership can drill down into each person's performance is really valuable. Their customer service team deserves recognition too, they're quick to respond and genuinely pleasant to work with. Whenever I have questions, they make sure I get clear answers and don't leave me hanging.
Cons
Navigation can be tricky because of how deep the system goes. I struggle to track goals for specific publications we manage, the software has some limitations there that hold me back. The mobile app has gotten better with recent updates and finding info is easier now but I'm hoping for more improvements down the road.

“Essential for Daily Operations
Pros
The functionality and ease of use really stand out to me. I can track everything happening on both sales and production sides, which has been invaluable. Over the past few years, this has genuinely helped our business grow, my sales reps use the CRM features while my operations team handles the production side. It's made our entire team work smarter and faster.
Cons
I really wish this tool offered more features, especially the ability to create contracts directly within the app. Hopefully that gets added down the road. Our company's stuck with some older legacy systems, so I can't fully utilize everything Magazine Manager has to offer right now. We're hoping to start using the billing features soon once we sort things out.

“Perfect for sales and billing operations
Pros
This tool fits our company's real world needs perfectly. The pricing is competitive and I appreciate the ongoing upgrades and improvements. Training and support have been excellent throughout our experience.
Cons
The customization options feel pretty outdated and the interface could use a refresh, though it still gets the work done.

“Admin and User for Eight Years
Pros
The QB, Mailchimp and Authorize.net integrations work easily together. I really appreciate how it automatically captures emails and links them to client records, saves me tons of time. The notes recording feature is handy for keeping track of conversations and being able to build custom reports means I can pull exactly the data I need.
Cons
I wish there were better goal setting capabilities with fewer restrictions and the reporting could use some work. A few features tend to have bugs when you first try them out, though the team is pretty quick about fixing issues once you report them.
