“Exceptional Support and Guidance Throughout Setup
Pros
The support and advice we got during setup and after the launch were the best. They were always there to guide us making the whole process much smoother and more efficient.
Cons
I can't think of anything to mention, the team has been excellent.

“Awesome experience
Pros
One thing I really like is the direct communication with the developers. Plus, being able to collaborate with them to customize the system to our needs has been a huge plus.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind. Once we got the conversation started we worked really well together. The project was delivered on time and within budget.

VeryConnect platform offers excellent value for money, the team is also approachable, very knowledgeable and understands the sector well. Overall I would say it is a good tool.
Cons

Pros
I really like how user friendly the platform is. The automated emails are great and the reporting functions work well too. Plus, it is easy to clean up our data and ensure everything is accurate in one place. I also love the tagging features which make it simple to categorize our members.
Cons
We lack control over certain elements like editing our member filtering categories, turning automated emails on and off and uploading event templates. Also we would like to handle these things ourselves but we have to ask it to do a lot of it which takes time and does not allow us to be as agile as we would like.

“Highly suggest for UK organizations
Pros
We were looking for an affordable yet effective system to replace an outdated one with complicated features. What we needed was a reliable, UK based company and choosing them was a smart move. The VC team is knowledgeable, always offering great advice and they prioritize customer service which has helped us build a strong, trusting relationship. Also the platform is customizable to fit our branding and includes almost all the modules we need. There is not much to fault though I have been picky. The team quickly implements changes and regularly adds new features. Their licensing model is a big plus unlike many systems that charge per user, theirs is based on total users including admins and support. For example with up to 500 users as many people as needed can manage the system which is perfect for societies with volunteer driven activities.
Cons
Maybe I am being picky but I am sure these will be addressed in future releases. I would really like a better way to highlight and balance refunds against payments within the system. The current method works but it could be improved. Besides that, I would like to be able to save and retrieve custom built reports within the system instead of having to create templates in Excel.

“Using it for half a decade and very happy
Pros
For over 5 years we have been with VeryConnect and it has been a great experience. We started with our must haves and nice to haves and over time, the platform has grown to meet all our needs. We have a maintenance contract and use it regularly. It offers consistent support, advice and helpful suggestions which have been invaluable to our small team. The system is all in one and really adds value to our membership. It is easy to use and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a membership database as you won't be disappointed and the team truly cares.
Cons
I cannot think of anything I liked least about it as they really listen to our needs and always come back to us with solutions.

“Not the Typical Way, But Still Satisfied
Pros
We selected it to replace an existing solution that went out of business. We needed a way to post public content regularly to multiple stakeholder groups with customized content for each and also engage workgroup members in closed groups. This tool provided a public facing landing page and the ability to tag content linked from those pages along with a backend to engage registered members.
Cons
There is no help documentation so I had to figure things out by experimenting and asking questions. But it is hard to ask the right questions when you don't even know what to ask. For example I did not realize they could create different role permissions until much later. Without proper docs it's tough to know what the platform can do or if it's something custom. And in our setup I often found out later that features were built specifically for us which was great but I would have been fine with a workaround if I had known those weren't standard features.

Well we chose it to host our Alumni Platform and what sets them apart is their willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate all our requests and brainstorm new solutions. I found their team to be knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and flexible which made the entire implementation process smooth. Overall I would highly recommend it.
Cons
A few features that could be improved like the email campaign feature or added. However as the software is constantly being developed, I am confident it will improve soon.

Overall our team is really happy with the trainer and support team at VeryConnect. While the platform is easy to navigate it was the personal touch that made it work for us. They took the time to understand our needs and how the platform could help us grow our membership. During the setup they asked the right questions and offered valuable suggestions using examples from it. And once we were clear on our needs, they presented multiple solutions in a professional yet relaxed way making sure everything was done on time.
Cons
It is a shame that the product is no longer based in our country.

“Changed the way we communicate with members
Pros
We implemented it to improve the back office systems for our alumni organization and it has made managing things so much easier for both members and admins. But what we did not realize was how much more we would get. The platform has become our social media and email tool allowing us to communicate with members while also giving them the ability to manage their privacy settings. Members can choose to share their details with others or remain private but still receive newsletters and updates. Plus it integrates with our finance system reducing the time spent on subscription payments. Also we can generate reports and quickly follow up with lapsed members. The implementation was smooth too and after several months of ensuring clean data imports, our membership grew by 27% in the first six months. The growth mainly came from younger members but we also had members as old as 92 easily sign up. One member even emailed to say The website looks great! And I love it.
Cons
The only downside so far is the lack of a mobile app. However our web designer is working on building a custom website app for us which we hope will go live in May 2022.

“Great customizable software with attentive service
Pros
I am especially impressed with our search filter structure which took a lot of work to conceptualize and develop. We can now search our database using a versatile set of filters which is also beneficial for mailings. The email module along with its comprehensive recipient insights and stats is one of my favorite feature, plus the user to user messaging, private collaboration spaces for our workgroups and news and Twitter feeds make it an ideal communication tool which adds real value to our member community. Our customer support manager is always there for us impressing us with quick responses and a deep understanding of our data structure.
Cons
Nothing specific comes to my mind honestly. The software is constantly evolving and even if something is missing now you can either request a custom feature or wait for the next release which always adds new options.
