“Customizable community platform”

Pros

Building a support community with this has been a great choice. It's highly customizable, the overall workflow becomes manageable at a steady pace and the chat features are a real plus. The CMS is also flexible enough to customize the platform to very specific needs without too much trouble.

Cons

Getting started can be a bit challenging because you have to adjust to the way the platform works. There are a lot of settings bundled into the CMS which can feel overwhelming at first. Another drawback is that several useful and more specialized features, such as white labeling and spaces, are only available as add-ons beyond the base subscription.

“Support delays and indexing issues”

Pros

Getting started on the platform was very easy and we were able to launch our product's community portal within a week.

Cons

The real problem is knowing what to do when something breaks. First, support can take as long as 72 hours just to pick up a ticket. We reported that the automatically generated sitemap had errors which stopped our site from being indexed by Google. It took them 10 days just to acknowledge the bug. After that, we spent another month trying to get them to actually fix it. It's incredibly frustrating when your site is basically invisible on Google and you don't even have backend access to attempt a workaround yourself. All we got were vague promises like "It's our priority," but with no timeline, no dates and no resolution, while we were still paying customers. We're moving our community to Circle.so now.

“Better updates over time”

Pros

We've been using it for several years now and it keeps us very well informed about every update. With each new change, the product looks better and better which really matches what our users and clients want.

Cons

At this point, it would probably make sense to already have an app available on the Play Store.

Pros

The interface looks clean and beautiful and creating spaces feels very easy.

Cons

I just wish it offered more features, like subscription tools to handle memberships.

“Full control for community growth”

Pros

Having complete control over scaling and managing my community has made a huge difference. Before using it, I had to rely on developers and designers for things I can now handle myself which used to be really impractical.

Cons

There honestly isn't much for me to complain about. I know the software is still evolving and the team keeps rolling out updates regularly. If I had one suggestion, it would be to send emails or a monthly newsletter with system updates since that would be really helpful.

“Flexible no-code building”

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how flexible it is. You can put together custom projects pretty quickly and customize the components to match exactly what you need, all without having to know coding or even design. There are plenty of ready-made components available that you can just drag onto the page and configure however you want which saves a lot of time when building projects.

Cons

There's still some room to add more components and introduce new features but it seems like that's something they're already working on.

“Great-looking user platform”

Pros

Right away, this platform stands out as the most visually appealing one to me. It has a familiar feel, similar to well-known platforms like Facebook which helps my users find their way around without much trouble.

Cons

At the same time, it's quite complex and I'm still not sure whether I'm already using it in the best possible way. What I really miss are built-in email features, a weekly digest function and better tools for planning and scheduling posts. Having those options would make things much more manageable for me as an administrator.

“Excellent customer communication”

Pros

It's a really great tool for managing communication with existing customers and the technical support has been quite good. Features like discussions, ideation and the Q&A section are definitely strong points and add a lot of value.

Cons

On the downside, tools like this need constant updates because the market changes every day and there are still areas that could be improved, such as adding the ability to compare product charts.

“customized community hub”

Pros

Building and engaging a community with Tribe has been a really positive experience. The platform feels interactive, it's simple to use and the interface is clean enough to navigate without confusion. I also appreciate how customizable it is since it can be adjusted to fit specific needs. Another big plus is the ability to connect it with existing social media platforms which makes managing everything much more convenient.

Cons

At the start, I did run into some integration issues while getting set up but aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

“Strong value for community growth”

Pros

As someone completely new to the SaaS community world, choosing Tribe turned out to be the right move. I checked out a few competing platforms with similar features and many of them were charging nearly twice as much. That made Tribe's value feel incredibly impressive.

Cons

When I first purchased it, the software still had plenty of room to grow. Since then though, it has improved tremendously and I'm really happy I decided to buy it. It has gone from feeling like an MVP product to becoming the standout MVP in community engagement. Big credit to the product team, they clearly know what they're doing.
