“Buggy booking but slow support”

Pros

The concept behind it sounded really promising but it never actually worked the way it should have. From the very beginning it was full of bugs and I would not go through that again.

Cons

Setting up rooms for bookings and rentals was far more complicated than it should have been and their support was extremely slow. The system was constantly glitching and customers often could not book available time slots at all. For example, if someone selected a 1-hour booking, it would only show fixed hourly blocks instead of every open option so they could book 11,00-12,00 but not 11,30-12,30. Over a 10-month period, I think there were only about 2 months when people were not telling me they had trouble booking. On top of that, it is expensive, has too many moving parts and still needs a lot of refinement.

“Powerful booking support”

Pros

Once everything is set up the way it should be, the system feels really powerful and flexible. It brings online bookings, payments, calendar syncing and client communication together in one place which saves a lot of time in day-to-day work. The Business add-ons are genuinely useful too especially things like multiple locations, recurring bookings and a better checkout experience. I also appreciated the support from the IT team, who were quick to respond and helpful when it came to fixing issues and getting everything running properly again.

Cons

Setup process could be clearer in some areas especially when upgrades are involved and a few parts would benefit from being more simple. That said, once it's all configured, it works really well.

“Premium perks with useful visibility”

Pros

What I appreciate most about it is being able to highlight my availability and also having the chance to make money from the services I offer.

Cons

Downside is that most of the appealing features are only accessible if you pay to get premium status.

“fast service”

Pros

Every booking goes through without any hassle and the whole process is completely easy. On top of that, the team itself always responds very quickly whenever needed.

Cons

Honestly, there's not really anything to complain about. One or two of the apps could maybe include an extra feature or two but they aren't really necessary.

“Excellent support”

Pros

Outstanding customer support from their team. She responded quickly, stayed on top of the issue and kept working until she found the cause and resolved it.

Cons

I don't have any complaints about my IT calendar now that it's synced with my office calendar.

“lost bookings”

Pros

Honestly, there's barely anything about it that I can say I enjoy.

Cons

It's constantly unavailable because of "scheduled maintenance," and it regularly removes things I've posted, including full customer profiles and bookings. On top of that, several features don't function the way they should and when I email support about fixing them, I'm told that "it looks fine on our end." It's incredibly frustrating to deal with and if the decision were mine, the company I work with would have moved away from it a long time ago.

“License issues and poor support”

Pros

At first, the platform seemed appealing but it turned out to be a scam. It doesn't function properly and only worked for a short period.

Cons

Nothing about this was worth liking, it was the worst experience I've had. I bought a 12-month license code to use the Bookley plugin on my website but it only worked for 3 months before it was cancelled. I had no clear explanation why. While trying to sort it out with customer service, I didn't want my booking system offline so I purchased another license. That one didn't work either because the code they sold me was already registered under a different company's domain. I honestly don't understand how they can sell a code that's already tied to another business. After nearly two weeks of back-and-forth with support, nothing was resolved. Every time I emailed them, they replied the next day asking for pointless details instead of answering my questions or fixing the issue. In the end, I gave up, switched to a different plugin provider and I will never use this company again. This company is a scam.

“Versatile add-on options”

Pros

There's a broad selection of add-ons available so it can be customized to handle just about any use case you need.

Cons

The downside is that the add-ons have to be bought separately and the total cost can climb pretty quickly for small to mid-sized businesses.

“Resource management challenges”

Pros

Once the product is installed, the back end is fairly easy for a manager to use and its ergonomics and features match the realities of the business quite well. On the customer side, the booking form delivers a decent user experience, nothing exceptional but acceptable overall.

Cons

Biggest problem, by far, is resource management on the front end, it's disastrous. The collaborative services add-on does not work with most of the other value-added add-ons, such as compound services and others. In practice, that means either giving up the advanced booking features that were promised to clients or abandoning proper resource management altogether, with all the risks of overbooking and the need to manually handle resources for every reservation. Resource management in the back end is just as bad. You basically have to cobble together the service setup to make bookings work correctly. I offer around thirty customer-facing services and this forced me to create more than 150 entries in the back end. On top of that, for a single reservation, resources and services have to be booked separately from the back end. The number of bugs that appear when several add-ons are used together is honestly staggering. The cart + collaborative combination leads to absurd outcomes, including double bookings for both staff and resources. And the front end used to display services offers almost no customization at all. It looks so poor that I ended up rebuilding all my services manually and just linking them to the final booking step which also meant sacrificing a lot of the user experience in the process. And that's only part of the list.
