“Reliable service and support”
Pros
Using it has been just as simple as before. The website is simple to use, the phones work really well and the customer service has also been excellent.
Cons
At this point, I really do not have any complaints. We have been customers for a long time now and everything has continued to run well without any issues.

“Horrible support”
Pros
There isn't much positive I can say. The glowing reviews they have seem questionable to me.
Cons
Customer service is a serious problem and they're not able to resolve issues within a reasonable timeframe. We've been with this company for well over a decade and every few years they make a major mistake. Their customer support feels like lip service and their errors have ended up costing my company money.

Pros
Pulling up recorded calls is really simple which helps a lot when I need to check facts or look into customer issues. It's also very convenient to reroute calls during and outside business hours.
Cons
I honestly don't have any complaints. It's been very useful overall and the system is simple to navigate.

“Billing errors and poor support”
Pros
There really isn't anything positive I can say.
Cons
This VOIP service started out working fine but over the past year their handling of technical issues has been very disappointing, especially when it came to call forwarding. In April 2017, my wife was diagnosed with cancer and around the same time we had to shut down our second office. Before that, we had 6 lines in use. After closing that office, we canceled 2 lines and notified FluentStream so our account should have been reduced to 4 lines. Instead, they kept billing us for 6. Then in July 2019, they increased the line count again to 8. Altogether, those billing mistakes added up to $1,799. When we finally noticed the issue on our bill last month, we contacted them and also let them know we were switching to another provider. That was probably a mistake. They pointed to a contract clause saying charges had to be disputed within 30 days, even though that condition does not appear on their monthly statements. Even knowing we were leaving, they only offered either an $899 credit toward future bills or $354 back in cash. We are extremely disappointed with the entire experience we've had with this company.

“Great support and value”
Pros
Compared with most VOIP platforms, this one is pretty simple to use. It doesn't have the flashy feel of Vonage, RingCentral or 8x8 but the pricing is excellent and the customer support team has been amazing from picking the right setup to implementation and continued day-to-day use.
Cons
There's not much to complain about. A few things can be a bit harder to locate than on the larger platforms since they're still a newer vendor but they keep improving the product and making it more user-friendly over time.

“Superb enterprise-grade voip”
Pros
Over the years, I've had two different lines with it and both times I only canceled because my business wasn't really making enough use of the toll-free numbers. From start to finish, the service was absolutely fantastic and I honestly have nothing but good things to say about them. I've worked with quite a few VoIP providers but FluentStream felt like true enterprise-level service, not some lightweight operation like a lot of the others out there. I was genuinely disappointed to leave and if I ever need this kind of service again, I'd come back without hesitation.
Cons
The only small issue was the porting timeline. I'm not completely sure whether that was on their end but my number's port-in date was set about two weeks after signup, while Twilio only took a few days when I later ported it back out. It really wasn't a major problem for me though.

“Responsive customer service team”
Pros
I've really appreciated the customer service, they're responsive and very pleasant to work with. It's also been a big plus that our whole team can jump in and update the call flow when needed, instead of relying on just one admin to handle everything.
Cons
There are times when it doesn't seem to go through consistently. It may partly be user error but getting everything set up felt pretty complex, especially with the number of locations we have and the routing callers need between them.

“Promising features, complex interface”
Pros
There are a lot of features included and considering the price, it's honestly pretty impressive. The onboarding process was excellent too, responses were fast, the support was very helpful and the rep I worked with was knowledgeable and always available when I needed a call answered.
Cons
The website interface still needs work because it feels a bit complex. The phone app could also be more developed since it's very limited right now and I have to rely on key combinations to get to certain functions. It would also be nice if the mobile app had a separate menu just for voicemail.

“Helpful reporting tools”
Pros
Pulling reports to analyze data has been very simple and the ability to listen to employee conversations has also been really valuable for training and coaching.
Cons
I could do without the pop-up message asking whether I need help every time I log into the portal. I understand why it's there but since it's already simple to contact support when needed, it feels unnecessary.

“24/7 support”
Pros
Getting started with it was pretty simple since the system is user-friendly and doesn't take long to learn. Having access to multiple phone lines has been a big help for our team. The online faxing and texting tools have also been useful in day-to-day work. One of the best parts is the support team, they're available 24/7 and even when we've had to call back several times, they've always been patient and never sounded frustrated.
Cons
It did take some trial and error to sort out a few quirks before it fit well with the way our business operates. One thing we really don't care for is the fax feature not having a contact list since that means we have to look up fax numbers every single time which slows us down. The 180-character cap on texts is also pretty restrictive and really limits what we can send to clients. We've had to get pretty creative with wording just to stay within that limit.

“Would recommend!”
Pros
With any technology, little hiccups are bound to come up but when the customer support is this strong, those issues never turn into major problems. Every customer service rep and support technician I've worked with has been pleasant to deal with, took the time to really listen before jumping into a solution and then walked me through the fix in a way that made sense to someone without a technical background. They helped us from day one with setting up our phone system and they still make us feel just as valued as any other customer whenever we reach out for help. I'd absolutely recommend it for internet phone service.
Cons
It has done everything we need it to do and honestly, I can't think of anything I dislike about it.
