“Checks every box”
Pros
It covers what I need for social media marketing and has been a solid fit for managing that side of my work.
Cons
Biggest downside is the price especially since they no longer offer a free plan.

“Comprehensive social media hub”
Pros
With integrations across just about every major platform, it works really well as a single place to manage things for companies handling a broad social media presence.
Cons
It's interface isn't the most user-friendly when you're first getting started. There's definitely a learning curve before you can fully make the most of everything it offers.

“Multiplatform posting and reports”
Pros
This platform was where I first started managing content across multiple social networks. It handled my first scheduled posts and also gave me a way to work with reports and performance metrics.
Cons
It hasn't kept up with updates as much as other competitors and I ran into issues with some posts not publishing properly. In the end, we found a better solution on the market.

“One of the strongest options”
Pros
Compared with most social media management tools out there, this feels like one of the strongest options after Buffer. For scheduling posts, handling multiple social accounts in one place and managing responses, it does a really solid job across the board.
Cons
The weak spot is social listening since the features there aren't especially useful. That said, pairing Hootsuite with another tool like BuzzSumo works much better than relying on an all-in-one platform such as SproutSocial.

“Covers all the core features”
Pros
this is still the standard I measure other social CMS platforms against. It covers all the core features needed to keep social media channels aligned and running together.
Cons
it feels a bit behind current trends when stacked up against newer tools like ContentStudio, Predis and similar options.

“Helps me organize my team's content”
Pros
Running social media with it has been fantastic. It helps me plan and organize my team's content in a way that's both efficient and professional and it has really strengthened our social media presence. Sharing content across extra channels is very convenient and that has helped drive more website traffic and customer inquiries. Whether I'm posting photos or videos, the process is quick and simple on every platform and the basic publishing tools are clear and simple to use. Being able to repeat the same post multiple times is also really useful when I want to keep certain content visible for longer. On top of that, replying to messages is much easier now since I don't have to jump from one channel to another. Everything I need is in one place.
Cons
Post scheduling almost never has issues and on the rare occasion something goes wrong, it's usually simple to correct. The media library is excellent as well, making it smooth to keep reusing and refreshing content. I also appreciate how copying captions speeds things up and lets me upload content right away without any unnecessary hassle.

“Custom reports clients loved”
Pros
One of the best parts was the analytics. It let me build custom reports and download them for clients and they were always really happy with the results.
Cons
Things became more limiting over the past year after Hootsuite changed its plan setup. You can't create free client accounts anymore and it only supports adding LinkedIn business pages so I wasn't able to connect clients' personal profiles.

“Central hub for social monitoring”
Pros
Having all my social media monitoring in one place is really convenient and makes it much easier to keep track of everything.
Cons
It can sometimes be difficult to stay focused and posts scheduled in the app don't seem to have as much impact as the ones done through the mobile apps.

“Improved our planning”
Pros
It has really improved the way we plan and distribute content. In my role as a Digital Marketing Manager, it's helped me highlight our value across social channels and Amplify has given our sales team a practical way to drive more website traffic and generate leads. The platform is user-friendly and the Account Management team has been excellent whenever we've needed support.
Cons
Reporting doesn't offer enough drill-down detail and it's also missing some functionality for Instagram posting.

“works poorly with X Premium”
Pros
Having mobile access is really convenient and the platform is simple to use. Scheduling basic posts is pretty simple and doesn't take much effort.
Cons
It works poorly with X Premium. It won't let me schedule posts that go beyond the standard character limit and I also can't schedule a post if the file size is over 5MB.

“Must-have tool for social scheduling”
Pros
Managing Instagram, Facebook and Twitter from one dashboard is the part I appreciated most about it. It lets me schedule things like menu updates, promotions and event announcements in one place which makes handling multiple social accounts much more convenient.
Cons
The biggest downside for a cafe is the price since Hootsuite can be expensive for a small business.

“Too expensive for small teams”
Pros
Back when it offered a limited but permanent free plan, it was a really solid option for small businesses and personal users who didn't need advanced social media management or didn't post very often. Scheduling posts was simple for me, whether I was using the app or working from my computer.
Cons
At its current price it's completely out of reach for small businesses, freelancers and people who are just getting started. If someone is posting several times a day, I can see how the time savings might make it worthwhile but for anyone only posting a couple of times a week, paying around $1,200 USD a year works out to more than $10 per post. It really feels like Hootsuite is catering to a very specific kind of customer and small businesses are clearly not the audience anymore.

“Time-saving social media control”
Pros
Keeping up with posting and monitoring across multiple social media channels is much more manageable with it especially when time is tight.

“Has been a gamechanger”
Pros
Having it has been a big time-saver and it has helped improve results with scheduling strategies that already work well. It identifies the best times to publish so posts can reach more people and get more views which makes it easier to hit goals. I can also monitor every post closely through its statistics and keep track of performance without missing anything. It cuts down my workload because I no longer have to watch the clock or worry about the right moment to post on social media. I just set the type of content I want to publish and Hootsuite handles the rest.
Cons
Nothing has bothered me and I haven't run into any problems with it.

“Fantastic features for scheduling”
Pros
Handling multiple social media accounts is much better with this tool. It gives me solid features for scheduling and publishing everything from one central place and it helps save a lot of time.

it's pretty expensive. The free plan is also quite limited and it still misses some advanced features.
