“Increased our social media engagement”
Pros
Since bringing it into our workflow, our social media engagement has gone up noticeably. The scheduling and analytics features are reliable, the interface feels user-friendly and it has helped us organize and simplify the way we manage social accounts. For a small team, it fits really well and saves us a lot of effort.
Cons
The one part that gets a little frustrating is the limited customization for social posts. We've had to rely on third-party integrations to get around that and those can feel a bit complex at times. It's not a major problem but having more flexibility built in would definitely improve the experience.

“awesome multi-channel posting”
Pros
Managing several social accounts with it has been a big help since we can post everywhere at once instead of logging in and out of each platform. The analytics give us really useful engagement data and being able to manage the content directly in the platform is a huge plus. For a small team like ours, where time is tight and staying consistent online matters, it has worked really well. Getting the account set up also felt pretty simple even without a marketing background.
Cons
Pricing feels pretty steep for a small business compared with other tools out there. I'd also prefer more flexibility when customizing posts for each platform because right now it takes too much reworking. Support does seem responsive but actually getting issues resolved can take longer than expected. The video editing features are also fairly limited which is frustrating since so much of our content relies on visual storytelling.

“Helps track posts across social media”
Pros
It helps me stay on top of posts across multiple platforms without constantly jumping from one app to another.
Cons
At times scheduled content needs a couple of extra checks before it goes live. I've already had to correct a few details after setting things up.

“Option to schedule social media posts”
Pros
A big improvement over the years has been the option to schedule social media posts across several platforms at once. It's had a real impact on our team's efficiency, particularly when we're handling collaborative projects together.
Cons
Customer support has been a bit of a challenge for us. At one point, our account was locked because of an accidental action by one user and it took longer than we expected for support to help us get everything fully up and running again.

“Lets me publish to all social media accounts”
Pros
Running a business is a lot easier with this since I can publish to all of my social media accounts at the same time. That time-saving feature is really useful for me as a business owner.
Cons
The monthly subscription price isn't my favorite part of the app but I rely on it for work so I still pay for it when I need to.

“incredible sharing feature”
Pros
Scheduling content across different channels feels very simple and works exactly as it should. The sharing feature is particularly useful when working together with colleagues. I moved over to Hootsuite from another platform because of a job change and was able to get comfortable with it right away.
Cons
Looking at it from a marketing point of view, the interface could use a bit more color. For anyone completely new to tools like this, it may come across as a little too complex and confusing at first.

“Ability to schedule posts”
Pros
The standout feature has been the ability to schedule posts. It lets me map content out well in advance which saves a lot of time and leaves me free to focus on other projects.
Cons
I do miss how much more the free version used to offer. Now it still feels like some features that should be standard are locked behind a paid plan.

“Powerful web-based tool”
Pros
Right from the start it felt very user-friendly across the whole platform. It was the first web-based tool I used for planning posts and checking insights, right after Canva and I've been using it almost daily since then because I genuinely enjoy working with it. It also helps me build strong workflows and automate parts of my tasks which is a big plus.
Cons
LinkedIn doesn't let you schedule PDF uploads which is disappointing. Another issue is that they no longer offer a trial.

“Centralized solution for managing social media posts”
Pros
Having one place to manage all my social media accounts is a big plus and scheduling posts across different platforms makes the whole process much more convenient.
Cons
There's a slight learning curve when setting up and integrating the platforms but once that's done, it becomes a very useful tool for managing accounts.

“best social media scheduling tool”
Pros
It has been the best social media scheduling tool I've used online. It gives me access to a huge range of metrics which really helps when shaping and evaluating my content strategy.
Cons
Being able to link all of my social media accounts and schedule posts ahead of time is really useful. Even if that sounds basic, it goes well beyond that. I can track engagement, keep an eye on mentions, run analytics reports and manage multiple accounts all in one place.

“Superb social media management software”
Pros
I still rely on this for social media management and for publishing company ads and it's been a really effective way to connect with all the right target customers.
Cons
I honestly don't have any complaints. Having access to AI tools starting with the standard license is a big plus and it helps a lot when it comes to managing and developing ideas.

“Handy cross-network scheduling”
Pros
Being able to plan our marketing content in one place has been fantastic especially since we can create and publish promotional video posts across all of our retail social channels at the same time.
Cons
It stops feeling worthwhile once the team starts growing because the cost ends up seeming like wasted money. On top of that, customer support is barely helpful when we run into frustrating account lockouts or need more advanced customization options.

“Overpriced and ethically disappointing”
Pros
At least it was a Canadian company and the service was decent enough. It wasn't consistently reliable but it handled the job most of the time even if there are definitely better options out there.
Cons
The pricing feels far too high for the level of value and overall experience it delivers. Reliability was also hit or miss. On top of that, their choice to move forward with and maintain a contract with ICE made it seem like profits mattered more than ethics. When I asked them to explain that decision, despite being a client for almost 10 years, all I got back was a robotic, prewritten PR-style response.

“supports team collaboration”
Pros
Having social scheduling and analytics in one place across different platforms is a big plus. It cuts down on time, supports team collaboration well and makes planning posts much simpler from a single dashboard.
Cons
Pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams. The interface also feels cluttered now and then and the more advanced analytics are only available on higher-tier plans.

“Solid solution for social media teams”
Pros
Really useful for certain social media management tasks. It can be a solid solution for social media teams that want user-friendly dashboards and a simpler way to manage their work.
Cons
A 30-day trial would be appreciated and the full package can get pretty expensive. It would also be nice to see a more tailored option for smaller agencies.

“Costly cancellation failure”
Pros
At first glance, the platform looked promising for monitoring competitors' social channels and I was genuinely curious to see what it was capable of.
Cons
Things went badly when my account wasn't actually canceled after I asked for it and believed the cancellation had gone through. The subscription renewed anyway and I ended up being charged more than $1,000 before I noticed. I've sent over five emails trying to fix it, both to the original sales rep and to support and I still haven't received any response.

“Planning content months ahead”
Pros
Being able to schedule posts ahead of time has been a huge plus. I can map out content months in advance which frees me up to stay productive in other parts of my work. The interface also feels more approachable than a lot of the other tools I've used before.
Cons
One weak spot is the analytics since they don't always seem fully accurate. I usually end up going straight to the social platform itself to pull the data and make sure the numbers are correct.

“Huge timesaver”
Pros
Managing several social media accounts with it has been a huge time-saver for me. Being able to schedule posts in advance and monitor everything from one dashboard makes the whole process much more efficient and I also appreciate not having to bounce between different platforms to check how content is performing.
Cons
At times Hootsuite does feel a little complex especially when moving between accounts or trying to get to certain features. On top of that some of the reports and analytics take a bit of effort to understand at first which can slow things down.
