“Wasted effort for an unfinished setup”
Pros
At first it felt like it could become exactly what our business needed. It was pitched to us as the complete answer to our challenges, an all-in-one platform that would organize our workflows, boost efficiency and fit our specific requirements. The sales presentation was very convincing and on paper the platform seemed to check every box. We went into the implementation feeling genuinely excited and expecting the kind of results we had been promised.
Cons
The biggest disappointment with it was how far the actual outcome fell from what was promised during the sales process. We bought into the platform because we were assured it could handle our business needs and that implementation would be manageable with support from HubSpot and their recommended partner. The reality was very different. After almost 10 months of work, endless meetings and thousands of dollars spent, we still did not have a fully working solution. The implementation turned out to be much more complicated than it was made out to be, several requirements were either extremely difficult or impossible to deliver as expected and progress kept moving slower than planned. Most frustrating of all was the lack of accountability once it became obvious the platform was not meeting our needs. Instead of ending up with a functioning system, we were left with something incomplete, ongoing expenses and a major investment of time and resources with very little to show for it.

“Friendly design”
Pros
This software stood out for its user-friendly design, strong automation workflows, detailed reporting and how well it keeps marketing and sales on the same page. Having one reliable place for customer data was a big advantage and it still felt flexible enough to grow alongside the business.
Cons
Because the platform includes so many features, it can feel a bit overwhelming at times especially for anyone new to CRM software. On the plus side, HubSpot Academy is very helpful and it makes learning the system and getting comfortable with the tools much faster.

“Covers all bases”
Pros
Running this for our 7-person agency, the free version already covers everything we need. Contact records sync smoothly with our email marketing and the deal pipeline lets me track every opportunity from the first conversation all the way to the signed contract. The automated follow-ups alone save me about 5 hours every week. On top of that, they actually pick up the phone when I call.
Cons
Reporting gets pretty complex when you're managing multiple pipelines. Also, customizing deal stages takes far too many clicks to be practical. The integration with our project management system keeps going offline so we end up having to reconnect it every month.

“amazing reporting tools”
Pros
the platform feels user-friendly and capable. The reporting tools and services are simple to use which helps a lot when handling a large book of business as a salesperson.
Cons
Working across multiple tasks can feel a bit complex and the more advanced sales operations workflows are not as user-friendly. Those deeper use cases take extra time to learn and usually require additional training.

“Access to multiple training resources”
Pros
One of the best parts for me has been having access to the different training resources they offer. On top of that, the customer service team is consistently excellent and always helpful.
Cons
If anything I feel like I'm probably not taking full advantage of everything yet. HubSpot offers so much that I'm still regularly coming across new features and tools to use.

“A gamechanger for client outreach”
Pros
It has completely changed how our organization works. It gives us a much better way to organize our clients and supporters and stay in touch with them. We've been able to move away from outdated, confusing spreadsheets and use a system that's far more simple and manageable.
Cons
At times it can still be a little hard to locate certain parts of the platform. It would be helpful if some sections were separated and arranged in a way that's clearer and easier to understand.

“Lovely updates”
Pros
Getting started with it has been simple and the recent updates have only made the platform better. It handles what I need it to do and I'd be happy to recommend it to others.
Cons
Nothing major comes to mind at the moment. It can lag once in a while but that feels understandable and overall I really don't have any complaints.

“free CRM with powerful integrations”
Pros
It has been a big win for us for two reasons. First, it's free which is a huge plus for a small business and it lets us keep an unlimited contact list. Second, it connects with almost any third-party platform so whenever we start using a new tool, we can pull our contact list straight from HubSpot without much trouble.
Cons
It feels a bit complicated or maybe I'm not setting it up the right way. Pretty much every time I import contacts from Excel, HubSpot ends up creating new properties if all the fields aren't mapped exactly right.

“Organizes customer details”
Pros
This tool really stands out for keeping leads and customer details organized in one central place. One of the biggest advantages is the value it offers especially with the free plan which already includes a lot of practical features. The interface is clean and user-friendly so getting around the platform feels simple even for someone new to CRM tools. Managing leads is efficient and it's simple to monitor deals and follow sales progress clearly. It also works well for team collaboration since communication history and customer information are shared across users. On top of that, the automation features save a lot of time by taking care of repetitive work like follow-ups and email tracking. Customer support is usually helpful too, particularly on paid plans which makes it a solid all-around CRM for growing businesses.
Cons
Searching for specific details or moving between different tools can sometimes take longer than expected especially when handling a large volume of data. Even with that, the platform is still powerful and highly functional for businesses that are expanding.

“Keeps everything connected”
Pros
HubSpot's biggest advantage is having everything in one place. With the CRM, marketing automation and customer service tools all tied together in a single platform, the data stays connected, contact details, campaign activity and support history are visible together which gives a much clearer picture of the full customer journey. The marketing automation side is especially well designed and setting up email campaigns and nurture workflows feels fairly simple without needing a dedicated technical person.
Cons
Pricing is a real sticking point with it. The structure can be hard to follow and the cost can climb pretty quickly once you start adding features, hubs or more users so it's not always clear what the final bill will actually look like. That can make it a tough sell for smaller teams or companies watching their budget closely. On top of that some of the more advanced features take time to learn and getting full value from the platform takes a meaningful investment in setup and onboarding.

“well-thought-out tool”
Pros
With all the implementations it includes, this is a very well-thought-out tool and it's very simple to use for my business.
Cons
I do think it's starting to fall behind a bit and should improve its implementation of CLI, MCP and AI agents since that's what's most relevant today.

“incredible for tracking leads”
Pros
It feels very user-friendly. It's excellent for keeping track of leads and the interface is clean and user-friendly so getting around the system doesn't take much effort. The automation tools do a nice job of simplifying workflows and the collaboration features make it easy for teams to work together without friction.
Cons
A few of the more advanced tools are only available on paid plans which can be limiting depending on what you need. Navigation can also feel a bit slower when working with larger databases and the free version has some restrictions when it comes to advanced functionality.

“Solid integration ecosystem”
Pros
There's a lot you can accomplish with this platform. It's highly flexible, handles most needs right out of the box and the integration ecosystem is strong enough to cover more specialized use cases when needed.
Cons
Things can get disorganized pretty quickly if the whole team doesn't understand how the setup works. When people start building their own solutions, it can end up disrupting other areas. The platform also becomes complex fast and I had a hard time getting dynamic, usage-based SaaS pricing to work correctly so it never fully became a reliable source of truth.

Pros
The number of features it offers and everything you can do with the platform is impressive. It helps our team a lot and has been very useful for us.

“Easy to learn”
Pros
After more than a year of using it, I can say it's been very simple to learn. I'm not especially technical so having a clean layout and navigation that makes sense has been a big plus for me.
Cons

“All your contacts in one place”
Pros
Having all my contact information in a single place is the biggest advantage for me. If you're someone who wants to keep track of a lot of details and manage plenty of information without it feeling overwhelming, HubSpot does that really well in a very simple organized way.
Cons
The part I'm less excited about is the pricing. HubSpot delivers a lot of value but the cost can climb pretty fast once you add more contacts or need access to more advanced features. For a small business or anyone just getting started, that price can definitely feel a bit heavy.
