Contacts, leads, notes in one place

Pros

Keeping contacts, leads, notes and follow-ups together in one place makes day-to-day work much more manageable. It's helpful to pull up past conversations quickly and instantly see where each lead is in the process. The interface feels clean overall and finding specific contacts is usually fast.

Cons

As you begin using more of the platform, the number of menus and settings can feel a bit overwhelming. Certain filters and reports take some time to understand and the advanced features can become pricey.

Best CRM out there

Pros

It really feels like the definition of the best CRM. It includes everything needed to manage a healthy pipeline and keep it growing.

Cons

The part I still struggle with is the pricing. It has always been difficult to understand and not very simple to scale with. I really hope they simplify it soon.

extremely capable tool

Pros

Its a really solid platform with the kind of capabilities and features that let it hold its own against major players like Salesforce.

Cons

Every now and then there are syncing delays between HubSpot and other tools so I have to wait or re-authorize approvals which ends up taking extra time.

Clean interface and strong automation

Pros

Right away, the clean interface stands out, contact management feels smooth and the automation helps cut down the time spent on everyday tasks. It's also simple for teams to get comfortable with even without a lot of training.

Cons

Some useful features are locked behind more expensive plans, reporting can feel a bit restricted unless you move up a tier and the customization options aren't as flexible as what you get with more advanced CRMs.

User-friendly CRM with powerful automation

Pros

This platform felt tidy and simple to use which makes handling contacts, following leads and keeping up with sales activity much simpler. The email tracking, deal pipeline and automation tools are the features I've enjoyed the most. It does a really good job of keeping everything organized and the free version delivers excellent value for small businesses and teams that are still growing.

Cons

A few of the more advanced features for automation, reporting and customization are locked behind the more expensive plans. There's also a bit of a learning curve when you're new to CRM software and want to understand all the tools although the documentation and support team are helpful along the way.

Excellent pricing for small teams

Pros

Compared with other CRM options, it has the most practical plan and pricing setup for smaller teams of 1 to 5 people. Most of the other CRMs feel overpriced for what a small team actually needs.

Cons

The email and SMS blasting feature for larger contact lists could be improved. The current setup feels a bit complex and there seems to be a pretty high risk of getting your domain blacklisted.

misleading setup promises and no refund

Pros

At a glance the CRM seems packed with solid functionality, offering a broad set of tools and integrations all within a single platform.

Cons

Leading up to signing on March 30, 2026, I made it very clear multiple times that one of my biggest concerns was whether our third-party vendors, systems and integrations could be set up successfully. During the sales process, we were reassured that HubSpot would guide us through it and that the setup would not be an issue. We were also told the onboarding fee was being waived as an end-of-quarter concession. Once we signed, it became clear that implementation was far more complex than we had been led to believe and that getting the level of support we thought was included could cost thousands more in added services. If that had been explained clearly before we agreed, we would not have moved forward with the subscription. We raised the concern soon after purchase, never meaningfully implemented or used the platform and asked for a refund of the $1,262.40 we paid. Instead, we went through weeks of emails, handoffs between Sales, Support, Billing and Contract Management, multiple internal reviews and in the end our refund request was denied. HubSpot acknowledges that onboarding came up in discussions and that the onboarding fee was waived but they dispute our understanding of what implementation help was represented during the sales process. Because of that, we have formally requested the recorded sales calls and transcripts. After exhausting every effort to resolve this directly, we filed complaints with the Massachusetts Attorney General, the Washington State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. The problem is not that we tried HubSpot and just decided we didn't like it. The problem is that the expectations created during the sales process materially differed from what we encountered immediately after purchasing. We are still giving HubSpot a chance to correct this by refunding the $1,262.40 and confirming that there are no further payment obligations tied to this disputed subscription. If HubSpot resolves the matter fairly, I will gladly update this review to reflect that outcome.

User-friendly and scalable platform

Pros

I appreciate how user-friendly the platform is especially with turnover in our sales and marketing teams. Bringing new people up to speed has been pretty simple and we've been able to handle most of the training internally without much trouble. It's also scaled well with us over time since we've been able to add more functionality along with AI and automation as our needs have grown.

Cons

As we've expanded functionality, the pricing has gone up quite a bit. There's a small training component for staff but it's barely worth mentioning compared to the expense. For smaller companies in particular, the cost is really the biggest hurdle.

Easy to get the hang of

Pros

Back at my previous job, this was the first time I worked with the software and it was very simple to get the hang of. The interface felt really user-friendly and it helped both me and my team keep all our data organized. It also played a big part in helping us find new clients so overall I think it's an excellent tool. On top of that, the customer support team was always responsive and helpful.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. HubSpot has been a solid product from my perspective and I never ran into any issues while using it so I'd definitely recommend it.

A generous free plan

Pros

Getting started with this CRM is really quick and the free entry tier makes it simple to begin using it right away. Having a free plan available is a big plus when you want to get up and running without any upfront cost.

Cons

The interface is clean but the platform can still feel pretty overwhelming because there are so many features packed into it. On top of that, the paid plans can become very expensive.

top choice for marketing teams

Pros

It has been the best option for our marketing team to organize leads and stay aligned with sales. The interface is very simple to understand and once you dig into everything it can do, you can tailor it and build out as much complexity and personalization as you want.

Cons

Some of the UI updates over the past couple of years have been a bit frustrating to deal with. On top of that, using it as a CMS still feels pretty outdated and it doesn't really stack up against other platforms when it comes to web functionality and loading performance.

Centralized solution

Pros

I can track customer interactions, update contact information, manage deals and schedule follow-up reminders without bouncing between multiple tools. The interface feels clean and it's simple to locate what I need which helps me save time throughout the day.

Cons

The free version is definitely helpful but some of the more advanced automation and reporting tools are locked behind a paid plan. It also takes a bit of time to get familiar with everything that's available and I do wish certain settings were easier to locate.

gives clear visibility into customer interactions

Pros

Having all our customer and sales data in one place is the biggest advantage. It brings together contacts, companies, deals and communication history in a way that gives the whole team clear visibility into customer interactions and sales activity. The layout is clean and simple so new users can get up to speed and start being productive without much delay. Tools like advanced search and filtering, customizable properties, pipelines and reporting make it much easier to keep data organized and follow opportunities efficiently. HubSpot also connects well with many of the tools we already use every day which helps automate repetitive work and improves collaboration across sales, marketing and support. On the occasions we've needed help, customer support has been responsive and the platform keeps rolling out useful updates over time. All in all, HubSpot CRM offers excellent value for the cost and has become a core part of how we handle sales and customer relationships.

Cons

Even though HubSpot CRM is user-friendly and packed with features some of its more advanced capabilities are locked behind higher-tier plans and that can get expensive as a business scales. Because of that, it may be harder to take full advantage of the platform without paying for an upgrade. There is also a bit of a learning curve with certain customization and reporting features especially for people who are new to CRM tools. And while the search and filtering functions work well overall, managing very large volumes of data can sometimes feel a little overwhelming if the system is not organized properly. That said, these are fairly minor issues and they do not take away from the platform's overall usability, dependability and the value it adds to our sales and customer management efforts.

CRM that simplified everything

Pros

Switching to it made a huge difference for our team because it replaced a bunch of confusing spreadsheets with a much simpler system to work in. Using this CRM, we can store all our client information in one place and reaching out to them has become a lot more manageable.

Cons

Once in a while, setting up new fields isn't very simple. I had to spend a bit of time figuring out which fields were the right ones to use.

Brilliant automation tools

Pros

The automation and workflow tools are really powerful. Even without a technical development background, I'm still able to support our RevOps function and other teams effectively.

Cons

At times they roll out several new features and fixes all at once which makes it hard to stay on top of all the product updates.

Easy once you understand it

Pros

Once you get familiar with it, setting up workflows and automations is quick and fairly comfortable.

Cons

Building landing pages feels limited when it comes to design. Dedicated landing page tools on the market still do that part better.

Keeps lead management structured

Pros

The way it keeps lead management structured really stood out to me. We can assign specific tasks to team members, follow up on them and make sure no lead slips through the cracks. The reporting tools also give me a clear view of our progress without having to wait on people to send updates manually. On top of that, the platform updates automatically which saves us a lot of time that would otherwise go into manual data entry and status updates.

Cons

cost can climb pretty quickly as you add more features or bring in additional users which is something a smaller team like ours definitely has to watch. Another issue was the setup process which ended up taking longer than I had planned. A big part of that was the learning curve since the whole team needed time to figure out where certain functions were and how to use them properly.

Effective lead capture

Pros

It does a really good job of capturing and storing leads and I appreciate how well it connects with different programs. The form features are also a big plus and work really well for what I need.

Cons

The part I enjoy the least is the UX design. It doesn't feel like the most user-friendly CRM and getting around the platform can be less simple than I'd expect.

works well for teams of all sizes

Pros

Well it has earned its reputation! It works really well for both smaller teams and bigger organizations and it's an excellent fit as a CRM especially with optional tools like the Marketing Hub available alongside it. The platform feels very user-friendly, comes with a long list of plug-and-play integrations and makes implementation, team adoption and day-to-day use feel very simple.

Cons

My only real criticism is around flexibility and depth compared with its biggest competitor, Salesforce. HubSpot is fantastic up to a certain stage but it doesn't quite offer all of the out-of-the-box power that some enterprise teams need when operating at a larger scale.
