“Reliable remote desktop tool”

Pros

It has been a very dependable and user-friendly remote desktop tool, with fast performance and a stable connection. It works really well for both everyday use and professional tasks because the setup is simple and there isn't much of a learning curve.

Cons

Installing it on a Windows computer can be a bit difficult. It would also be better if it supported larger file transfers between computers.

“Strong security features”

Pros

Getting connected to remote devices with it is pretty simple because the interface feels user-friendly and simple to move around in. The software has also been reliable, with stable remote sessions that users can count on. Another strong point is the security side since it includes features like encryption and password protection to help keep remote connections safe.

Cons

Support has been a mixed area. Although plenty of users say the customer service team is helpful, others have mentioned slower reply times and trouble getting more complex issues fully resolved.

“Wide variety of features”

Pros

This product offers excellent value for the range of features that come with it and it feels like a really strong option overall.

Cons

I honestly don't have any real complaints especially since it performs just as well as other products that cost quite a bit more.

“Amazing multi-user session feature”

Pros

Connections are consistently fast and stable and the multi-user session feature is really useful when more than one person needs to work on the same remote machine.

Cons

It's missing a black screen option and there's no way to lock remote input during a session.

“Handles reviews well”

Pros

Handling reviews, interventions and troubleshooting through this program has been really helpful because I can do everything quickly and without needing the end user to step in. That has made a noticeable difference in improving resolution times.

Cons

At times, the software can be slow and may not behave correctly.

“Stopped working completely”

Pros

It was previously very simple to use although that seems to have changed.

Cons

It quit working and at this point it's completely useless.

“No response from support”

Pros

Overall, it delivers on what it promises and I appreciate the general approach behind the software.

Cons

I'm able to connect to my remote PC but for the past couple of months I can only see the screen and not the mouse. I reached out to support about it and never got a response.

“Full office access anywhere”

This excellent software lets me connect to my office PC from remote locations and use all of its features, including the dedicated software installed on it.

Cons

Nothing to complain about at this point although I haven't explored every feature yet.

Connecting through this tool is simple and the security features are the biggest highlight. It feels very simple to use and user-friendly throughout.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues. The software worked exactly as expected.

“Fantastic built-in features”

Pros

Getting this set up and rolled out to friends and family who might need IT help on Windows PCs was very simple. It includes enough built-in features for the level of support I currently provide though I still can't say how well it would hold up if I needed to scale things further. Other than the advertising banner, they've genuinely delivered a free product without limiting the functionality which is honestly refreshing.

Cons

Support for mobile platforms especially Android is missing. I've already signed up for the beta as soon as it becomes available. Considering how widely Android is used across so many devices, I really expected it to be available alongside iOS from the start.

“Frequent crashes”

Pros

Found it quite userfriendly and I really appreciate the addition of multiple monitor support.

Cons

Since the most recent update, it has been crashing quite a bit and often freezes the image on the screens I connect from. When that happens, I end up having to call the other location and ask someone there to close and restart Remote Assistant. The mouse pointer has also been unreliable, it jumps around, flickers and when I move to the other screen, it turns into a white cursor inside a black box.

“Painfully slow”

Pros

It is pretty easy to use. The settings are simple and not confusing so it doesn't take much effort to use it properly. It also includes an encryption feature and that part is just as simple to configure.

Cons

The biggest problem is how much CPU it uses. Without at least an i5 or i7 processor, it tends to keep the CPU at 100% even when logging and encryption are turned off. Because of that, the software ends up running very slowly.

“Fast setup for remote work”

Pros

When I suddenly had to switch to working remotely, there was barely any time to move my active work projects to the cloud. I needed something quick to set up and just as quick to learn and this platform matched those needs perfectly.

Cons

At this point, I really haven't run into any issues. I also don't use remote desktop apps very heavily so I haven't had much reason to notice any drawbacks.
