“Versatile connectors with clean design”

Pros

Interface feels simple and user-friendly so it doesn't take long to get comfortable with it. Its flexibility and wide range of connectors make it possible to connect and work with nearly any system, whether it's on-premise, Amazon, Azure or Office 365. Last Christmas, we even used it together with PowerShell to automate our Christmas tree lights which was a lot of fun.

Cons

One downside is that it can get you hooked on PowerShell and make you want to automate absolutely everything.

“Flexible templates and user controls”

Pros

Right away the preconfigured templates for pretty much everything make the platform really convenient to work with. The front end is clear and user-friendly and being able to separate permissions and users adds a lot of flexibility for managing access.

Cons

There really is not much I would change. If anything, it could be even better with a way to exchange new scripts with other customers ,-)

“Powerful workflow setup”

Pros

Getting workflows set up is very easy thanks to the clear and user-friendly administration interface for configuring scripts. The provided ActionPacks make it possible to build the first workflows quickly even without deep PowerShell knowledge. Having scripts stored centrally and connected through Git saves a lot of unnecessary copying across different systems. On top of that the platform gives you simple script documentation and the option to organize everything with tags. Support is also well structured and very reliable.

Cons

Documentation available for looking things up could be improved especially when it comes to newly released features. The end-user interface also has room for improvement.

“useful PowerShell automation toolkit”

Pros

It brings PowerShell script delegation and task automation together in one package which makes it really practical to work with. The setup and administration are easy and it fills a gap by providing the tooling needed to run PowerShell scripts across the organization for any employee.

Cons

Auditing and reporting around job execution still have room for improvement.

“interactive scripting that works”

Pros

The interface is fairly decent overall and building interactive scripts is pretty easy. For example, you can select a customer, pick a user and then perform actions based on that choice.

Cons

User interface still feels limited and there isn't a convenient way to handle CSV import and export.

“Centralized scripts with Git sync”

Pros

Being able to assign scripts to junior admins and end users has been incredibly useful. I can organize everything into logical sections and manage the scripts from one central place which is much better than copying files to a shared drive. The Git repository integration saves a lot of time as well. Another really valuable feature is the option to add a GUI to scripts which makes things much more user-friendly for end users and junior administrators when they need to run them.

Cons

There is a bit of system overhead with the software and script execution can feel slow at times. The main interface also comes across as somewhat sparse and I would have preferred to see more options available directly from that screen.

“Powerful delegation and reuse”

Pros

Delegation works really well and the reusability is excellent. Managing different targets and credentials has been reliable and works exactly as it should. It also offers really good options for integrating with other tools which adds a lot of value.

Cons

User interface feels a bit limited and could definitely use some improvement.

“Handy script hub”

Pros

Having script integration that lets me upload directly from PowerShell ISE to it-Repo is really convenient. I also appreciate being able to delegate tasks to users without admin rights which makes day-to-day work much more flexible. Since the credentials are stored with the script task, I don't have to worry much about authorization issues. It also helps a lot to have one central place for scheduling scripts, plus the option to trigger them through messages or a REST interface. Sending the output by email is another useful feature that fits well into our workflow.

Cons

The downside is that it isn't free.

“easy access across systems”

Pros

Working with several different systems is convenient and I don't need to deal with a master password which makes access much more easy.

Cons

It would help to have a simpler way to run a PowerShell program as part of the hotline workflow.
