“Nonexistent learning curve”
Pros
Getting started with it was quick and using it feels very simple. There was basically no learning curve and the interface looks polished and modern. From what I've seen, it seems like it could do exactly what I need.
Cons
The biggest downside is that it only connects through Windows. I was hoping to manage remotes from my phone or tablet and I even have a wireless keyboard for that kind of setup. With this limitation, I'd need to carry a laptop around and use my phone as a hotspot just to stay wireless.

“Lovely features”
Pros
At this point, we've fully moved over to using everything it has to offer and it's been a really positive experience. We've especially enjoyed the standard client sessions, unattended access and the access history features.
Cons
Since we work mostly on macOS devices some recent version updates have made SetMe Unattended unavailable which means we've had to rely on other tools like Screen Sharing instead. If Apple gave businesses a bit more flexibility in this area, it likely wouldn't be a problem.

“handy dashboard with useful tools”
Pros
Copying and pasting files is simple and the dashboard is very user-friendly. It brings together text tools, screen recording, OS version details and even uptime in one place.
Cons
It doesn't run on iPad which is disappointing. Having that option would be really helpful for quick screen checks when I'm away from my desk or just need to handle a simple task.

“Reliable remote access every time”
Pros
A stable, secure connection with my remote clients is absolutely essential and it consistently delivers on that.
Cons
The 'unattended' list can be a bit awkward to navigate at times and moving clients into the right folders could be made more user-friendly.

“Loads quickly”
Pros
The interface loads quickly, it's simple to use and it gives me full control over everything I need to get done.
Cons
After moving from Fix me to SetMe I ran into several problems especially with installing the remote client and unattended access and those still haven't been resolved. Support also tends to begin with a canned response.

“Amazing support from the company”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is the low latency and the support from the company has also been consistently good.
Cons
The interface could be more user-friendly than it is now.

“affordable software”
Pros
Its pretty userfriendly, the setup was simple and it runs fast. The pricing feels fair too and overall it's been an excellent product to use.
Cons
Most of the things I'd want changed are apparently already on their feature roadmap. My two biggest wishes right now are improved support for multi-monitor setups and a mobile app.

“works across Windows and Mac”
Pros
Being able to connect to both Windows and Mac is a big advantage. It's also really nice not having to deal with Windows user account control.
Cons
I'm still unclear on how the unattended install works and on not allowing the user to uninstall. The saved password credentials also still haven't worked for me because when I click sign in, nothing happens.

“Responsive support”
Pros
There have definitely been improvements compared with FixMe and that's been noticeable. One thing I'd still want is for the download option to be more visible when I go to www.set.me, maybe with a clear login link right on that page. Support has been extremely responsive and they've even put several of my "wonderful" suggestions into place.
Cons
A few interface tweaks would make it better. The small square used to minimize the top ribbon would make more sense on the far left or right instead of taking up screen space where it is now. I usually leave it there but losing that extra bit of vertical space is a little annoying. Also, the scrollbar at the bottom for multiple monitors really should be larger and in a brighter color, maybe something like green on black so it's obvious that multiple monitors are available. Another thing I've noticed is that in unattended sessions sometimes clients still have windows open when I connect. It would be nice if a text window automatically popped up in the center of their screen to alert them that a remote session is starting or if some kind of bar appeared first with options to text or open remote access, just to create a brief delay before their screen opens.

“updates regularly”
Pros
I really appreciate that the product is updated regularly which helps it stay current on security. The unattended access features are also very useful and the controls for deciding who can and cannot access specific workstations work really well.
Cons
updates can be pushed at inconvenient times. When I need to get into a workstation quickly, having to wait for the application to finish updating can be frustrating.

“Dependable remote access”
Pros
Remote access across the computers in my district has been really simple with this. We've used other tools in the past and connecting was always hit or miss but this one has been much more dependable.
Cons
The only trouble I've run into is with multiple monitors. When I need to view all of them, moving around the screens can be a bit of a hassle at times. Even with that, it still works better than any other program I've used.
