“Exactly what I needed”

Getting started with it is refreshingly simple. Launching a remote session takes very little effort and there's no need to deal with a long or complicated setup. The one-time code method for sharing access is quick, dependable and especially useful when helping someone who isn't very tech-savvy. For basic remote support and screen sharing, it gives me exactly what I need without piling on extra features or unnecessary complexity.

Cons

It does the job well for basic tasks but it feels a bit limited when compared with more advanced remote access platforms. Features like file transfer, session management and deeper security settings are pretty minimal. The interface also feels somewhat dated. Even so, for fast and simple remote sessions, those drawbacks are usually manageable.

Whenever I need to connect to my home computer while traveling abroad, it makes the whole process simple and affordable. The customer service is very accessible, the software is simple to use and the pricing is reasonable which makes remote access much less of a hassle. Installation was quick and the app feels very user-friendly from the start. The interface is user-friendly as well which helps me work more efficiently. On top of that, it costs less and provides better support than other similar apps I've tried. Altogether, it has been a very satisfying product for me and I'd highly recommend it to others.

Having it available on pretty much every platform is a big plus for me, whether it's Windows, Mac, Linux android or iOS. It's also simple to get started since you just download the server from the ShowMyPC website. On top of that, the app lets you share files and communicate with peers or friends which makes it quite useful.

Cons

Application crashed quite often. It really needs an update to address that issue as soon as possible.

The only thing missing is the ability for the remote viewer to transfer files through the connection which would make it the ultimate free remote access program.

Among the screen-sharing tools I've tried, it has been the simplest to use. Downloading and setting it up is fast and hassle-free and our clients really appreciate that they don't need to be tech-savvy to get started. The instructions are simple and very easy to follow.

Cons

Every now and then, the app behaves oddly. It won't accept the password at times so it has to be closed and restarted with a newly generated password.

“Useful screen annotation tools”

Pros

I appreciate the compact interface, with just the buttons you actually need for remote access. The screen annotation tools are also really useful when I need to draw or point things out during a session. Another plus is the affordable pricing since the commercial license is only $36 per month. On top of that, being Java-based means it runs on nearly any platform, including Windows, Linux and macOS.

Cons

The software can run into connection problems from time to time especially when multiple sessions are active at once. The audio quality tends to suffer as well.

“Amazing remote access software”

Pros

At work, we use this program to give remote access to technical support from our management software provider and it has been excellent. The password generated for each access session adds an extra layer of security and gives confidence that privacy is protected. It's easily the most simple remote access software I've ever used.

Cons

There can be a bit of image lag at times, even when the internet connection is good but since the software is so simple to use, it's not really a major issue.
