This tool used to be pretty easy to use, at least in the beginning though that changed over time. Clients eventually started having a hard time using it too.

Biggest frustration is the long history I've had with this platform. I've been on it since the days when it was free and once they began charging they kept making changes. As time went on the fees became completely unreasonable. You're stuck paying a monthly fee and on top of that your clients get hit with booking fees too. If someone cancels at the last minute and another client grabs that same opening, that $10 fee goes straight to them instead of you. Clients also struggled at times to find their own appointments and every now and then the entire app would crash. That meant going through a full day of appointments without even being able to check who was scheduled next. I could say a lot more but it just isn't worth it.

Pros

Overall setup of the software feels polished, professional and fairly easy. You can list a large number of services, accept appointment deposits and upload plenty of photos. They also provide extra paid features like marketing support and spotlighting your business which can be useful if you want more visibility. On top of that they occasionally share helpful tips as well.

What I like the least is the pricing. In my opinion, it feels too expensive for what the platform actually offers. It doesn't seem like it should cost as much as they charge especially since there are other similar software options available for free or at a much lower price.

It's reasonably priced and works really well for a business so it feels like a great investment overall.

One useful part of the app is that it helps people discover your business and book you for a service. It also lets you collect payments through the platform which is convenient.

The search feature really isn't strong enough to justify paying $35 a month especially with the extra service fees they charge for processing payments in the app.

Checking out stylists in unfamiliar areas is really useful with this app. Being able to search by different locations and hairstyle categories makes it a lot more practical. I also love that you can see photos of each stylist's work and a lot of profiles connect to Facebook or Instagram when you want a little more reassurance before booking. The email reminders are helpful too.

It can be unreliable at times so there may be a bug causing issues. The hairstyle selection also needs to be updated so users can type in more specific styles they want, like Kinky Twists, Senegalese Twists or Box Braids.

This app helped me find the hairdresser I go to now. I can check reviews, browse nearby stylists' work, compare services and prices and book from my phone without any hassle. It's mobile-friendly and I also like that it sends my final receipt with an option to leave a tip.

One thing I'd like to see improved is making the service I request match the service that's actually provided so I can know the total cost upfront before the appointment.

Right away, this app feels very user-friendly. I can keep all of my clients' information stored in one place and I really appreciate that my clients can also leave reviews for my business.

Only issue with the app is that I can't take deposits from clients. Considering the monthly price, I feel that feature should already be included especially since other systems that cost less offer it.

Being web-based makes this platform really convenient since it lets you handle appointment scheduling, online bookings through the self-service portal, employee management, inventory, payroll, customer records and billing all in one place. One thing worth highlighting is how it sets itself apart from many other options on the market. It includes a photo gallery so clients and anyone visiting your profile can view some of your work which is a nice touch. On top of that, it comes with a strong digital marketing tool that is useful for running promotional campaigns. Setup is very easy as well, thanks to the configuration wizard and the overall design is clean and simple which makes the system very user-friendly. Considering how many features are included the price-to-quality ratio is excellent and gives a lot of value for a modest cost.

The platform performs extremely well overall but I would still love to see a mobile app developed since that would make access even more convenient.

At least it was simple to use but honestly that is the only positive I can point to. Beyond that, I have nothing good to say they feel like thieves.

Once I noticed they were charging all of my clients just to make a booking, taking a percentage from credit card sales and still billing me a monthly fee, I decided to cancel the account. Even after that they continued letting clients book appointments which created total chaos. Every time I contact support, I get no response. I am furious. The customer service is terrible and they keep making money off my hard work while completely ignoring my repeated requests to fully shut down my account.

It's widely recognized and pretty much everyone knows about it.

No real complaints. Everything was very easy to use although the advertising options felt a bit limited.
