“Real-time chat helps us stay in touch with clients
Pros
Tawk.to makes it pretty easy to stay in touch with people visiting our website. Also I love that I can handle multiple chats at once, see what people are typing before they send it and pitch in with pre-written responses when things get busy. It feels personal and direct and customers really like it.
Cons
Notifications at times are inconsistent if I have not had the browser tab open. Because of that I have missed a few incoming chats. And though the mobile app is useful but it is not as quick for switching between multiple conversations.

“Simple yet effective
Pros
It is easy for us to communicate with customers in real time. Also the platform is easy to navigate and employees can chat with each other in the direct messaging section. And the group chat feature is helpful too and the best part is that our employees can easily track the chat history.
Cons
There is nothing I dislike about it. However the AI chat feature could definitely be improved.

“Shady privacy policies, watch out
Pros
Listen to me and do not use this product. We used it for a month just long enough to set up the knowledge base and support ticket service, when we got a notice saying our page was flagged as a PHISHING SCAM. We alerted Tawk and they basically said they could not help because the knowledge base is not their product even though it is tied directly into their dashboard. Plus they are letting client data be stolen and are not doing anything about it. So avoid this company as they do not care about your client's safety.
Cons
Honestly the customer service is poor which is ironic for a company that offers customer service. So take my advice and stay away from this company at any cost.

Tawk.io lets me customize the chat bubble, see in real time what people are typing and understand their needs. Also it recognizes new versus returning users and you can create page specific messaging to boost conversions.
Cons
A web developer deployed it and it took time to get the settings right and the messaging correct. However after that I find it pretty easy to use.

Well I have used Tawk for a long time for live chat on our website. And it helped us capture leads through live chat.

Pros
Its live chat feature is simply amazing and works perfectly for our website. Also the free plan is unbeatable and offers features that other live chat services charge for.
Cons
There are not many cons. One thing that I noticed is that there is a lack of options to fully customize the chat. Plus allowing more customization would improve the service along with updating the UI.

We mainly use the live chat feature but we are also quite happy with the traffic notifications.
Cons
Sometimes traffic from certain countries gets disconnected which causes their country data to disappear and a default worldwide icon to appear. I hope they fix this issue soon.

There is not much to dislike about this company. The chat is great and has lots of additional features if you want them but it also works great in its simplest form. Initially I was hesitant at first since I would never heard of the company but with its price and robust feature set, it is unbeatable.

Pros
Tawk.to is the perfect software for my digital company. And in addition to live chat, it lets us build a knowledge base to help guide customers through various processes.
Cons
One thing I have noticed that the sound notification does not always go off when new customers arrive on live chat especially when there are many processes running on the computer or when the connection speed is low.
