Everything about it is good

Pros

The entire organization is very transparent and collaborative and leadership is always accessible to our team for guidance and to help us understand the art of the possible. Plus subject matter experts are easy to reach through our account team when we need their insights both reactively and proactively.

Cons

I would not say like the least but with the new features we have implemented, we have experienced a few growing pains on both sides as we work out the best way to implement them. However it has been a collaborative process in finding solutions.

Offers great customer service

Pros

ActionIQ has an amazing team of experts who not only know their product inside and out but also take the time to understand your business goals and how their platform can help achieve them. They are also quite active in bringing fresh ideas and developing roadmaps for key initiatives helping keep the whole organization accountable. Their reps are great at training and providing the resources needed to get everyone up to speed. Plus the platform itself is user friendly which allows us to organize all our first party data, create customer journeys and scale them easily.

Cons

The reporting features are solid but in some cases of audience generation, we need to use SQL which could be more streamlined.

An exceptional CDP with well-designed data models

Pros

To me its strongest feature is its highly refined data modules and the incredible flexibility it offers. Data ingestion and the analytics that follow are spot on and the numerous integrations especially with data warehouses are a major plus.

Cons

Well I feel like the campaign delivery features need improvement. They promised generative AI features for prompt based profile building but that is delayed considerably.

Provides insights into seller performance and improvement

Pros

Q helps keep the entire sales team aligned with messaging. Plus it offers insight into the quality of calls and provides live guidance and feedback during calls. It even accelerates onboarding, improves technical product knowledge, coaching and collaboration. The simple UI makes it easy for us to find videos, clip important moments and organize them into folders for team access. The customer support team is responsive too and always helpful with feature requests, questions and training.

Cons

No complaints to share so far. Every feature has proven useful for me.

Good but there's potential for improvement

Pros

ActionIQ is an excellent tool for storing customer data and making it easy to use for campaign segmentation. The setup makes sense with clear tabs for different activities. Also there are plenty of out of the box integrations that make it simple for me to keep this platform as the central hub for all our data. The support team is wonderful as they are always available and with a great can-do attitude.

Cons

I do not like that attributes have to be written in SQL which adds unnecessary complexity to the platform. It would be better if you could just drag and drop fields like simpler platforms such as Eloqua. Also there are often limitations within the platform and it feels like some issues are still being worked through. There are also frequent platform failures and unfortunately, there is no way to mass pass or unpause when these errors occur.

Boosts sales, results, and efficiency

Pros

It helps the sales team improve their abilities. Since I cannot be everywhere at once Q allows me to provide many coaching opportunities and insights into what needs improvement for individuals and the whole team. Also it is used across different roles including Sales and Senior Leadership. Q has had a huge impact at Lunavi by aiding onboarding, improving technical product knowledge, identifying cross-sell opportunities, coaching and collaboration, all while saving time. 96% of all Lunavi meetings are reviewed at least once.

Cons

All the features are beneficial. I have not found any downsides to using the platform.

Works but it has its cons

Pros

The simple user interface makes it easy for even the least technical business user to use the platform. I often collaborate with marketers to use the platform and build audiences and because AIQ has such a smooth UI/UX, they can use it effectively without feeling overwhelmed which can happen with more technical platforms.

Cons

The lack of visibility into success/failure metrics is a major con. For instance when we enable a campaign or journey through AIQ we would like to know how well it performed.

Offers seamless integration for data engineers

Pros

From a Data Engineering standpoint our company was able to load millions of customer records into ActionIQ from various structured and semi structured data sources within days. Before using AIQ we had data silos across Postgres, Hive and our S3 data lake, each with different access and integration methods. AIQ provided a platform that made it easy to integrate data from all these sources. We simply pulled daily Parquet file snapshots from each source into a shared S3 location and let AIQ handle the rest. Since the data ingestion process is mostly the same for each data source we wrote a simple ETL job in PySpark and reused the same script for all five of our distinct data sources.

Cons

It was simple to transfer data in Parquet format to a shared S3 location for AIQ to process but we lost some visibility in the general CDP integration process after sending the data over. Initially we needed help from the AIQ engineering team to verify that the data we sent was being joined and upserted into their platform as expected. The engineers who assisted us were very knowledgeable about how their integration platform works and after the first round of technical discussions, the data verification process went pretty smoothly.
