“the admin center is easy for anyone to pick up”

Pros

Most of my day-to-day Google admin work can be handled in BetterCloud from a single place. It lets me reset Google passwords, update signatures, manage groups and take care of a lot more without jumping between tools. Compared with the Google Admin Console, BetterCloud's interface feels much more user friendly. It also connects well with other Google products so admins can update Docs, Sheets, Forms and more without needing to sign in to a user's account. And that's only scratching the surface. It also helps with creating user accounts while applying company templates like signatures automatically. There are more advanced features available too and even though I haven't needed to use them yet after 12 months, it's reassuring to know the product can do more when needed.

Cons

only downside is that BetterCloud is always being updated with new features and changes. While that's ultimately a good thing, it can sometimes be difficult to stay current with everything that's been added or changed.

“support fell short”

Pros

The interface is understandable and there are features that make setting up bulk accounts more manageable when you have a large number of users.

Cons

The customer "care" team didn't feel customer-focused at all. It came across more like their priority was getting paid than actually helping us. We stayed in regular contact with our service rep and even told him in writing that we might not be able to move forward yet an invoice was still sent anyway. We attempted to cancel the order literally one day after receiving the invoice but the rep wasn't able to assist and his manager was out of office. BetterCloud may have once been ahead of the competition in terms of features but with Google becoming more widely adopted, there are now cheaper alternatives available and some of them are even free.

“managing google workspace is way less painful with this”

Pros

Compared with the Google Admin page, this is much simpler to work with. The package supports multiple users with different access levels and because it connects to the Google API, my admins can handle the account changes they need without much hassle.

Cons

Syncing with Google can get slow at times especially when a lot of transactions are being processed. The "May I help You?" popups are also pretty annoying. If I want to start a chat, I'll do it myself and the software should assume most people using it are savvy enough to click the help button when they actually need assistance.
