“Valuable full disk encryption”
Pros
BitLocker has been really valuable for keeping my data secure thanks to its full-disk encryption. Getting it running was easy too and once it's set up, it doesn't demand any extra work day to day. If you want to protect personal or work files from unauthorized access, it's a very practical and convenient option. Security matters a lot to me and this tool delivers that reassurance by making me feel confident that my information is protected.
Cons
One drawback is thatthis toolis limited to certain Windows editions which can be restrictive depending on what system someone uses. Another issue is that it is not open-source, so There is less transparency around how its security and privacy mechanisms work. For anyone who prefers complete visibility into the software they rely on, that can definitely be a concern. I'd really like to see it move further in that direction in the future.

“Easy intune management deployment”
Pros
Using BitLocker has not been a problem and managing it is just as easy. We deploy it through Intune which makes administration simple especially with recovery keys backing up directly there. The startup PIN requirement is also very important for laptop users and adds an extra layer of protection
Cons
Switching the PIN over to Windows Hello can be frustrating at times. There are also moments when it asks for the full unlock code for no clear reason.

“pretty simple security tool”
Pros
It is powerful while still being simple to use which is something I really like.
Cons
Having to type in the fullunlock codecan be frustrating. I understand that security is the whole point but I still wish there were a more convenient way to do it without making it less secure.

“Drive encryption for extra protection”
Pros
Device and drive encryption has been the biggest plus for me. If the system gets accessed from a different geographic location, it asks for authorization through the BitLocker code which adds an extra layer of security and gives me more confidence in the protection.
Cons
We have run into syncing issues that ended up forcing us to reset the machine.

“reliable tool you can trust”
Pros
The biggest advantage is how dependable it is as we know exactly what to expect from it every time.
Cons
It can definitely be frustrating if you forget the recovery key or when you are trying to clone a PC but that extra hassle is part of what makes it secure.

“Protects data with minimal impact”
Pros
A big advantage of it is how well it protects data from unauthorized access. Also it provides recovery keys and other options to regain access to encrypted drives when needed. Performance impact stays minimal too and the integration with Windows operating systems is easy too.
Cons
One limitation is that it is mainly restricted to operating systems and its hardware dependency can make it harder to use across all devices. Also recovery keys need to be protected carefully because losing them can lead to irreversible data loss.

“Password protection is amazing”

“Flexible secure pre boot”
Pros
BitLocker can be set up in several different ways, so the setup really depends on what the business needs. For example using a pre-boot PIN is one of the most secure options because it requires a PIN before unlocking the part of the drive where data is stored almost like having a key to access another key. That level of protection is valuable, even though not every organization actually needs it.
Cons
Using the pre-boot PIN makes deployment with AutoPilot harder. On top of that some organizations may end up relying quite a bit on unofficial Microsoft support just to get certain features working properly.

It is also easy to use, integrates nicely with other setups and the customer support and implementation have been good too. Plus it offers plenty of useful features which is why it gets used often.
