“versatile with many different use cases”
Pros
What I appreciated most was how many different ways I could use this product.
Cons
One part I wasn't too happy with was how simple it feels, it could be a bit more in-depth and interactive.

“Quick setup without high system requirements”
Pros
From the start, this has been backed by excellent customer support and an easy on the eyes interface. The setup is quick since it doesn't need high system requirements. It also includes a lot of useful features like dashboards, a ticketing system, performance benchmarks, email and phone notifications, analysis reports and device summary reports. I'm currently using it on Windows but it also works on Mac. The pricing is quote-based, affordable and suitable for different business sizes, whether medium or large. The training resources are very helpful as well and they offer live support whenever users need assistance.
Cons
I haven't run into any problems with it at all. In fact, it helps resolve issues very quickly and I really love using it.

“easy navigation and helpful assistance”
Pros
Getting around the app feels natural so it doesn't take much effort to use. The customer support has also been solid which is another definite plus.
Cons
The pricing isn't my favorite part. A perpetual licensing option would be much more appealing for our needs. Aside from that, I don't have any other complaints.

“swift suport responses”
Pros
BlueCat gives me customized, detailed reports for the errors I need to track which makes it possible to keep an eye on my firewalls even when I'm away from the office. It's also really simple to use.
Cons
I haven't come across any downsides yet. Whenever something wasn't clear to me, I reached out to the Indeny support team and they got back to me very quickly.

“faster than competing systems”
Pros
The alert generation system works really well especially being able to create our own rules for managing devices. The setup process is quick to configure and the features are user-friendly overall.
Cons
The only part that feels a bit slow is the time it takes to interrogate devices. Still, considering everything happening in the background to reach the device, process the data and show it with just a click, it actually performs very well and is still faster than what I would expect from other systems.

“Alerts are extremely useful”
Pros
This product uncovers a lot of useful information and alerts on it. It catches problems that typical SNMP-based tools usually miss which makes it feel far more capable. Another big advantage is that it doesn't overwhelm you with excessive alerts like some other products do. If an alert feels unnecessary, you can adjust your preferences and remove it without much trouble.
Cons
It does not support LDAP-based accounts and the range of products it supports can feel a bit limited. That said, it is fair to remember that this is a specialized product rather than a platform built around a broad collection of standard MIBs.

“Clear interface with quick hassle-free setup”
Pros
The interface felt orderly and visually clear from the start which made setup quick and hassle-free. The alerting system can be tailored well and there's plenty of room for customization overall. Support has also been excellent whenever needed. The graphing tool for stored data is really useful for analyzing trends and reviewing past information.
Cons
One issue that still needs improvement is the number of false positive alerts which can be frustrating at times. Also, the backup feature for devices has been removed from the product for now although it's supposed to come back later.

“real time case tracking you can trust”
Pros
Real-time usage works well and the integration with Check Point devices is efficient. Opening cases and keeping track of follow-ups is very simple to do.
Cons
Support from Palo Alto is limited. Integrations for IPS and DoS devices are missing, such as McAfee and Arbor and VPN device integrations are not available either.

“Great visibility across everything”
Pros
It gives me excellent visibility across my environment and keeps things fast and simple to use. I just wish it could cover even more areas.
Cons
There isn't much documentation built into the product itself. The online documentation is helpful but it can be long and sometimes difficult to follow.

“Helps you run daily checks”
Pros
It takes care of the checks I'd usually have to handle as part of my daily work and it runs them far more frequently than I ever could manually. That frees up time to focus on higher-priority tasks. I also really appreciate the logic behind the checks since it goes beyond simply telling you whether something is up or down.
Cons
It would be useful to have the option to build our own custom checks although I understand that may already be planned for a future update. This may not be entirely fair since we haven't properly tested Cisco NX-OS yet but from an initial look it seems like that area could use a bit broader coverage.
