“Simple setup
Pros
It's a simple product that doesn't require any training. You can easily set it up and configure everything yourself. Adding a new device via the web is simple and you can deploy apps directly from Apple Business Manager to your iPads remotely. If you need to change the Wi-Fi password, you just update it in Jamf Now and push it out to all the relevant devices at once. The dashboard gives you a complete overview of all your devices, showing their last connection time, current iOS version and model. You can also create blueprints for different types of devices.
Cons
The new price feels a bit high for what you get especially when you compare it to Jamf Pro which offers more features for a similar cost.

“support is non existent now!
Pros
I liked that the platform was pretty user-friendly but the main reason I chose them was their support. They always answered the phone and a technician would help me right away.
Cons
Customer support basically doesn't exist for Jamf Now anymore. They don't answer the phone and have split up their teams so you get directed to Jamf Pro support. But when they answer, they can't help you because they don't handle Jamf Now. So you're pretty much on your own......

“Easy for basics
Pros
Jamf is easy to set up for some basic mobile device management.
Cons
It's very basic and lacks a lot of features which puts it at a disadvantage compared to other more fully-featured products.

“great overview
Pros
The best part is having a single overview of all our assets and being able to push OS updates in no time.
Cons
Some functions are a bit limited. It would be much more powerful if it were combined with Jamf Pro.

“Excellent control and management
Pros
We loved how we could control, manage and update software on all our devices which kept everything secure and up-to-date.
Cons
We've run into some limitations with Jamf Now that aren't an issue in the upgraded Jamf Pro. We think they could add more features to the Now version.

“a basic starter product
Pros
The most impactful feature is how easy it is to use and set up.
Cons
This isn't their flagship product but it's enough to get started with and it works for a small business or, in our case, for training purposes.

“Flexible settings
Pros
I like that it offers a ton of options and flexibility for setting restrictions.
Cons
If you use this with Apple Business Manager, the managed Apple IDs can be a real pain. Even if Jamf allows people to download apps, Apple sometimes overrides that. Also Jamf can be slow to sync at times. I also wish you could track phone locations without having to put them in lost mode.

“Great for deployment
Pros
We have many iPhones used by our employees. I love that I can deploy apps, manage settings and have their phones ready to go right out of the box.
Cons
I really wish there was a way to track iPhone locations.

“quick, intuitive and perfect for mid-sized companies
Pros
What I like most about Jamf Now is how quick it is to make everyday changes. The interface is simple, intuitive and not cluttered. It works perfectly for a medium-sized company like ours.
Cons
Sometimes app installations can get stuck but it's easy to check which devices are having problems and just re-install the app to fix it.

“really good blueprints
Pros
I love that once a blueprint is created, I can tweak it, apply it to devices and easily push apps to specific devices.
Cons
Unfortunately, I had trouble with my Apple push notification service and ended up having to start over from scratch. I'm still in the process of restoring over 100 devices.

“excellent for remote device management
Pros
I like that I can keep all my field units organized. I can push apps to them when needed, see when a unit last checked in, change passwords, unlock devices or even disable a unit if necessary.
Cons
The yearly process of updating the tokens is a hassle. I wish it were more user-friendly since I'm not an IT person and have to re-learn how to do it every year. I'd love it if it were as simple as just clicking a button that says "nothing has changed from last year."

“Clear interface
Pros
You get a clear, immediate overview of everything without having to dig through menus, thanks to the intuitive user interface.
Cons
Annual license and connection renewals are a pain but I don't necessarily see that as Jamf's fault. I just wish the process was smoother.

“smooth enrollment
Pros
It was easy to integrate with our Device Enrollment Program for automatic enrollment. This helps ensure our iOS devices don't go missing or get locked.
Cons
I wish Apple had this kind of functionality built-in natively but since they don't, this is the best option available.

“User-friendly after learning curve
Pros
This software is very user-friendly once you get the hang of it. I went from exploring MDM for Apple devices to deploying over 30 iPads in just two months.
Cons
There's a bit of a learning curve when you first start but their excellent support really helps keep you on track. It can feel intimidating worrying about messing up expensive devices but their FAQs and setup videos are absolutely indispensable.
