Pros

It's super easy for the recipient to open encrypted emails. On our side the software is simple and easy to use. Wee tried a lot of encryption services and this one is the best.

Cons

I dont have any major complaints, just a couple of things on my wish list. First SMS support is available only in the UK right now, and I did like to see it in the US. Second, adding a signature block for the online version would be helpful especially since we use Outlook 365 instead of the desktop version and there's no signature integration.

Occasionally clients are asked to create an account, which they prefer not to do and when they do it limits how much data they can send.

A bit annoying is that opening a Mailock email redirects me to a new portal. I understand the reasoning behind it but I just wanted to be honest about how I feel.

Since it is an outlook addon I do not have to switch between different solutions and I love the various client verification methods available such as password and SMS along with notifications for when an email is opened.

It works well for me even though it is sometimes not favored by the recipient. As a service I am generally very happy with it and it remains easy enough for me to use.

The issue is not that the product is unappealing to the end user but rather that they have to deal with encryption requirements. This is clearly not the fault of Mailock itself which functions well.

I find adding files and utilizing question and answer methods to unlock content along with requiring a mobile number to be very useful.

Unable to download the Outlook add-in when using outlook from a browser or on a mac is a bit of a problem.
