Great value for money

Pros

It offers great value for money, especially when compared to other options that are more expensive and lack key features like Wake-on-LAN. It's a cost-effective solution without compromising on essential functionality

Cons

I wasn't able to easily use patch management and remote access together. They created separate install packages, and only one worked at a time. I ended up having to uninstall patch management and reinstall remote access just to get it functioning.

Cloud convenience with security

Pros

You get the convenience and security of the cloud, plus the option to use on-premises. It includes everything you might need, like role-based access control, asset groups and session recording.

Cons

In the cloud version, you can't choose where recorded sessions are stored because they're kept in a default location. Also, downloading recordings has to be done manually, there's no way to schedule or automate it.

User-friendly & great support

Pros

It's very user-friendly and ManageEngine's support is great. It really helps us assist end users more quickly.

Cons

Sometimes links within the app (like to a manufacturer's website) were missing or broken. I also found that the groups function worked a little differently than I expected or needed.

fantastic cloud-based tool

Pros

This is a fantastic cloud-based remote access tool that offers excellent value. Like other ManageEngine products, it does its job exceptionally well and is very comprehensive for the price.

Cons

I'd really like to see this integrate with Service Desk Plus Cloud but that's not an option right now.

Pros

It's easy to install and brings a powerful set of tools together in a single console.

Cons

Unlike tools like TeamViewer, there's no option for a one-time, portable executable for quick support sessions which is something that would be really useful for temporary access.

simple setup and configurable

Pros

Setup and deployment are simple and it's highly configurable. You can create custom roles with different access levels and it includes useful tools like chat, file sharing, screen recording, remote restart, registry edits, and software installation. It also supports multi-monitor setups and works across different operating systems.

Cons

The initial setup interface feels a little cluttered and disorganized, but thankfully that's only on the backend, not something end-users see.

Secure cloud management

Pros

I love being able to manage my domain and computers all in one secure, cloud-based spot. I've also used the iOS app, and it works perfectly which isn't something I can say for other remote assist apps.

Cons

This one's partly on me. I didn't realize I had to manually approve new connections, which temporarily prevented me from seeing new computers. That's actually a good security feature, though! My real con is the email volume because the moment you sign up, you get nonstop emails prompting you to try other products. It starts to feel like spam, even though the support itself is good.

Pros

It's incredibly easy to use and comes with so many features that let you provide accurate and effective remote support.

Cons

I wish it had more built-in reports for reviewing the machines in my environment. The reporting feels a bit limited.

quick cloud setup

Pros

I was able to set up a system for eight artists with cloud sync in just three to five hours.

Cons

The remote desktop feature occasionally has trouble connecting to certain machines.
