“Hard to set up, and no support for Small Business”
Pros
I liked the features. It looked like a good solution for my client.
Cons
I had a hard time getting a login for the website. I had to send several emails, and they kept telling me to use an MFA token that was not working. It seemed like the account had already been set up by someone else and I did not have access to the token. After about ten emails I finally got it sorted and was able to log in, download the software, and install it on my clients computers. It worked but I was not receiving any reports. When I tried to do the google integration it caused network issues and cut off all clients from accessing the network. I called for support but got none for small businesses. I spent two hours texting with their support team, who told me I needed to set up a Zoom or Teams meeting with a rep. After emailing to arrange that I did not hear back for six days. When I finally did they told me if I did not respond, They did close the case. I never got any training, and it still does not work for my client.

Installation was easy and I did not have to do anything else since the corporate office manages everything. The interface is great and connecting to the company network is simple.
Cons

What I love most about Perimeter 81 is how easy it is to access. I can turn the VPN on and off right from my toolbar.
Cons
It sometimes slow down my device. If there were more training on access and management I would definitely attend so I can work around the slowing down problem.

“What can I say? It just works!”

Okay so I am just an end user doing my coding thing. I dont have to pay for the company VPN or manage it. But Perimeter 81 is honestly the best VPN I've ever used. Before this I had a line in my bashrc file that asked if I was on the VPN because it kept disconnecting. Now with Perimeter 81 it never disconnects! It stays connected so I can make my terminal say something fun instead. I don't have to worry about the VPN at all. 10/10 highly recommend!
Cons
Honestly I cannot think of anything right now. I did not even have to set up my own weird files or anything like I had to in the past maybe I should ask our IT folks how much work that was.

Cons

Super simple to use fast policy enforcement invite users by email and it supports agentless methods like SSH VNC and RDP. Their tech support chat responses are super fast too.
Cons
It says ZTNA but I do not think the agent method has the same powerful micro-segmentation capabilities as agentless.
