“replaces outdated gpo with smart device policies”
Pros
What really stands out is how this tool studies compliance requirements and maps them directly to device-level policies. I also appreciate that it recognizes the need to balance security with user experience, letting us gradually implement device policy lockdowns. While some might categorize this as a vulnerability management solution, it's unlike anything else I've encountered. Instead of focusing on exploitable software bugs like traditional vuln tools, it manages device policies. This replaces the old Group Policy approach, which frankly is outdated, insecure, hard to verify, unreliable and lacks proper visibility. The best part? It allows less experienced techs to handle tasks that would normally require a seasoned systems engineer.
Cons
The learning curve is pretty steep and you definitely need to understand what you're doing. I guess thats unavoidable considering how complex the policies can get. Thankfully, support has been amazing and they walk us through every issue we run into.

“Integrates well into our Windows ecosystem”
Pros
I love how well this integrates with our Windows environment. The interface makes managing all those configuration settings much simpler than I expected. What impressed me most is how it keeps us compliant with NIST 800-171 and CIS benchmarks, plus the MITRE mapping is valuable for our SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements. The configuration drift detection feature has been a game-changer for maintaining our security baseline and it's nice knowing everything stays locked down properly.
Cons
The dashboard could really use more detailed customization options to make the user experience feel more personalized. We're still waiting on Windows Server, macOS and Linux hardening baselines to be released, which would be helpful additions.
