“A great product for complete peace of mind.
Pros
What I appreciate most is ThreatLocker's support. Most of my questions have been answered through the university or the help page, both of which are excellent. If I can't find what I need, contacting the Cyber Heroes results in almost instant responses. They are very polite, informed and follow up until the issue is resolved, which is great.
Cons
The exam is solid and although the training was initially difficult to follow, there have been significant improvements over the past year.

“ThreatLocker. The leader in Zero Trust by a mile
Pros
The Cyber Hero service handles most of the heavy lifting for us.
Cons
The cultural resistance from system administrators to this approach is a challenge. It requires teaching them to accept the minor friction of requesting permissions before installing or updating software.

“Great product, great support
Pros
ThreatLocker offers a broad range of features, providing many options. Their support and account representatives are informative and helpful.
Cons
Limitations around the use of batch and Python scripts while understandable have been a major source of internal conflict since instalation. The mobile app could also benefit from additional features to match those of the web portal though I understand this is planned for future updates.

“Application access/elevation control and ringfencing in a simple to use package
Pros
ThreatLocker was easy to implement and deploy in our (AAD/Intune) environment and it has been easy to manage. Compared to our previous access control solution, ThreatLocker is far superior in flexibility and simplicity. Its not-for-profit pricing makes it more affordable than competitors. Our support and account management team have been very helpful, particularly support team member who has shown exceptional knowledge of the platform and consistently provides solutions. Regular updates introduce new features and quality-of-life improvements.
Cons
There is a minor issue with the storage policy deployment occasionally struggling with USB allowances. This could be related to our own infrastructure as it happens in about 1 in 100 cases.

“ThreatLocker: Industry Leading Endpoint Protection Platform
Pros
Working with ThreatLocker has been fantastic. The customer support is excellent and it is packed with great security features. As both a provider and user of ThreatLocker, I find it beneficial for efficiently implementing and integrating these features into daily operations. Allowlisting is the most frequently utilized feature by our clients and creating policies at both the individual user and organization-wide levels has been great.
Cons
The learning curve and initial noise during system implementation add extra work and training challenges. Adopting ThreatLocker is a shift in philosophy for tech teams and overcoming this can be a struggle.
