“Effortless and hands off approach to security

The team is super approachable and easy to work with. We shared our timing restrictions and all the issues we were facing and they were flexible enough to work within our constraints. They are genuinely the kind of people you'd want to do business with and their price is fair.

I haven't found anything to complain about. They have been solid and I feel like they always treated us fairly.

Pros

The platform walks you through everything, step by step, to prepare for the SOC 2 audit, ensuring continuous compliance along the way. We especially liked the scans that check if our team has MFA enabled across all services. It's so convenient to be able to check everything in one platform. They gave us a full toolkit with policies and automated controls, which helped us test our policies, upload evidence and pull automated proof from all our vendors/SAAS solutions (like AWS, Github and Google Workplace). The integration with all our different services is what made us choose Trustero. The AI audit scan even provides action items to fix controls that aren't passing, which was huge for us and helped us make adjustments confidently before the audit. Their customer support and onboarding were amazing, always there to help every step of the way.

Cons

We haven't faced any downsides. The team has been super helpful and addressed any concerns we had before the audit.

Pros

This was our first year prepping for a SOC 2 audit and Trustero's compliance automation platform made the process go really smoothly. The platform was easy to implement and guided us through the necessary policies and documentation for our SOC 2 audit. It's very AI driven and the integrations with tools we already use (like GitHub, Slack, Jira and AWS) made collecting evidence so much easier. The best part is the real time visibility into compliance status, which helped us quickly address any gaps before they became an issue during the audit review. Trustero's support and account teams were always quick to respond, offering tips and suggestions when needed. I highly recommend Trustero! Organizations with limited compliance resources will find this platform the perfect solution for achieving SOC 2 compliance!

Cons

Overall Trustero is a great platform. However, because it's still growing, there were a few times we had to revise what was on the platform versus the template documentation. We also ran into a minor bug with the vendor management upload section but the support team was quick to help us resolve it. The company is clearly focused on improving their system and processes, and their knowledge base is really helpful for troubleshooting.

Pros

We used Trustero to achieve SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, and it's been outstanding. The tool gave us all the information we needed to craft our initial policies, making the whole process efficient and straightforward. The biggest highlight for me has been their support team, they are true experts. Every interaction was helpful and professional, making the whole compliance process much smoother. Over the past year it has consistently improved the platform based on feedback. Thanks to them, we have successfully completed two audits with ease, and I'd definitely use this tool again for SOC 2 compliance in the future. Highly recommended!

Honestly I have not disliked anything about the tool. It's been great from start to finish. If I had to say anything, the only thing I disliked was trying to lead an organization through SOC 2 compliance before we had Trustero. That was a real challenge! With it everything became much much easier.

“Making a difficult process a lot easier

Pros

Let's be honest�..except for the auditors, nobody likes SOC 2. It's a painful and bureaucratic process. Gathering all the evidence and knowing exactly what's required takes time away from my team, which should be spent on developing new products. Trustero's platform makes everything clear and does a solid job collecting data through automated receptors, keeping the human involvement in evidence collection to a minimum.

Cons

Trustero is a young company with a rapidly evolving product. In the short time we have used the platform, we have already seen several revisions of both the platform and template documentation, which meant we had to revisit some areas we already covered.

Pros

It is super customer friendly. I had no idea about the SOC 2 process but they made it so easy for me to learn and understand what I needed to do to become SOC 2 compliant. They had a library of policies that saved us a ton of time so we didn't have to draft them from scratch. Their automatic receptors to platforms like Git and Google Business helped identify non-compliance areas and resolve them quickly. Also they even offered a SOC 2 Auditor as part of the price, which made the whole process easier from start to finish.

Cons

The UX of the platform could definitely be improved.

Pros

Trustero really helped my organization with SOC 2 compliance. Before this, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of work ahead of me, but their tools lightened my workload. From templated policies to the receptors that connect to other tools like our HR platform, everything is easy to use and navigate. They even have a great feature that lets you answer security questionnaires using an AI model trained on your policy documents.
