Get things done quicker

Pros

As a graphic designer I use this tool regularly in my work and it's been proven very helpful. I have even recommended it to my coworkers and they all loved it.

Cons

Everything about it is good. Still I feel like it could be more faster, simpler and user-friendly. Plus graphic designers could really benefit from having the option to add new symbols easily.

This software is essential

Pros

The Vray engine definitely stands out above others of its kind to me and offers better features.

Cons

3ds Max interface is a bit hard to understand at first and it is not very engaging at the same time. But once you get used to it, surely you will start liking it.

Simple but expensive

Pros

I find it really easy to use for architectural and building modeling.

Cons

The price of this tool is a little too high for my liking and it is also tough to use for animation.

Quite good for animation

Pros

It is quite simple to use for architectural modeling with a simple interface. Also it is perfect for animation and the integration with AutoCAD works smoothly. Plus rendering time is quick and efficient too.

Cons

I would say it is on the expensive side when compared to software like Blender and it requires a lot of computing power. The object mapping feature is also a bit challenging to learn.

Useful but a little complex

Pros

This is the software that I find the most useful as it delivers the best photorealism for architectural scenes.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that the learning curve can get really complex at certain points.

Quite a complex tool

Pros

It is proven to be a great tool for us for creating precise plans and designs both for interiors and exteriors.

Cons

3ds Max software is tough to master at least for me and the material creation and rendering features are not that great too. Also it is not the most powerful or user friendly tool.
