“Number one editing suite in the industry

Pros

The new generative AI content fill is revolutionary. After using Photoshop for more than 20 years tasks that once took hours can now be finished in just a few minutes.

Cons

While many people including myself most of the time, see generative AI content as a positive it can be a double-edged sword. It makes the barrier to entry easier but it also opens the door for exploitative users.

“All-in-one solution

Pros

It provides a vast array of photo editing tools allowing us to adjust photos and prepare them for any format offering more features than you'd ever require.

Cons

The software has so many features that I find it quite complicated to navigate without some form of training.

“A must-have for any designer

Pros

Photoshop is an essential tool for any designer. Also it is well known and everyone has an idea of what it does. But as we dive deeper we discover even more time saving and productivity boosting tools and that is when you really start seeing its value as a busy designer.

Cons

It does have a steep learning curve and can feel overwhelming for newcomers. Thankfully there are plenty of tutorials, both free and paid available online. Plus the key for new users is to find a workspace that works for them and having the right tools visible makes everything much easier.

“Outstanding product

Pros

It is an excellent software though it has a learning curve. Also it is one of the best out there and allows us to do so much with it.

Cons

The software is a little on the expensive side especially when compared to other options available in the market. Also it is a bit challenging to learn.

“My top-choice

Pros

Photoshop remains one of the top choices for design and photo editing. It has every tool you need but it can be slow and sometimes feels overwhelming with all the options. I have been using it for years and still discover new features.

Cons

I like the smart object and brush features but the interface feels outdated and some tools are not very user friendly. For beginners it is too complicated. And now with the subscription model it is more expensive than before.

“Photoshop is my favorite

Pros

I absolutely love using Adobe Photoshop for my graphic designs. I studied Communications Technology in 9th grade, took Graphic Design 1 in 10th grade and Graphic Design 2 in 11th grade and even used Photoshop on an old Mac Pro.

Cons

One thing I don't like that Adobe Photoshop requires payment to access its full features as I usually prefer free software. However I understand why such a program is priced this way.

“Makes my job simple

Pros

Being able to work with layers and masks gives me much more control over small adjustments that make a big difference.

Cons

It takes more time but the results are always cleaner when I need that extra polish. Plus it does require more RAM to function properly.

Pros

The generative AI that helps us create larger photos combined with the amazing retouching tools is truly one of a kind.

Cons

Well it is pretty complicated to navigate until you become familiar with all the options. As it took me some time and practice to master it.

I really enjoyed working with Photoshop during my A-level Photography exams. It made editing images a smooth experience thanks to the wide variety of tools available.

Cons

Honestly I cannot think of anything negative to say as my work has always been done effortlessly using Photoshop.

Well I mainly used Photoshop to fix photos, remove unwanted items from the background or make things look more professional when necessary.

Cons

Photoshop is powerful and comes with all the tools I need but at times I just wanted quicker ways to get things done and fewer setup steps especially for small tasks where I didn't need all the layers and options.

Pros

I really enjoy using Photoshop. It helps me bring my ads to life and has made editing incredibly easy.

Cons

There are not many downsides. I have been using it for quite some years and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

“Transforms everything

Pros

I have found all the functions in Photoshop useful but I especially love the new AI tools that allow you to resize images, remove or add elements all by simply typing a prompt.

Cons

Well I had a billing issue where Adobe charged me only six days into the 14 day trial they promised. This feels like a dishonest and unethical practice especially considering their advertised offer.
