“Solid lightroom replacement solution

Pros

One-time purchase makes it way more affordable than subscription options. Photo manipulation feels easy and very simple to use. Editing speed is also impressive, no lag or waiting around. File compatibility covers everything I need and the lens correction feature works amazingly well. Honestly can't recommend this enough for anyone looking for solid photo editing software.

Cons

It struggles with certain file formats especially Nikon Raw Files. Color correction ICC profiles don't function properly with these files, forcing me to convert everything to TIFF first before applying profiles. There's also what seems like a bug with the ICC profile dropdown menu and it doesn't actually drop down when you click on it which is frustrating.

The interface feels very easy and well-designed. Support has been reliable whenever I've needed help and honestly, this thing is just so user-friendly that anyone can pick it up quickly.

Cons

Nothing really bothers me about this app. The only thing I'd want is maybe a way to bring in music from Spotify or something like that.

I can easily transform my photos into professional-quality images using the numerous tools availablle and they're incredibly user-friendly. Beyond basic editing, it offers various modes for different photo styles. The API plugin is another feature I'm particularly fond of.

Cons

Sometimes the image conversion creates files that are way too large compared to the actual quality you get which can be frustrating when you're trying to manage storage space.

The only real issue I've encountered is the slow startup time and sometimes it takes forever to load on my laptop which can be very frustrating when you need to get work done quickly.

I was able to pick this up pretty quickly without any issues. Lately though, it's been getting harder to find it in stores. The developers are constantly adding new features and improvements which I really appreciate. What stands out the most to me is how easy the color correction tools are to use and they make complex adjustments feel simple and manageable.

Tough to locate in stores and while I've worked with multiple versions over the years, it really deserves more recognition from buyers than it gets.

I find this software much more interactive compared to other programs I've used. The new interface really appeals to me and I lovehow it handles file archiving. Being able to add plugins is a nice touch, plus the Linux compatibility is exactly what I needed.

Cons

Photo sharing feels limited because you can only do it through slideshows or web galleries directly from the program.
