“Versatile 2d animation toolkit

Pros

Animaker is a really flexible tool to make all kinds of animations especially in 2D. I used it a lot back when I was in school and it didn't take me long to get comfortable with because the interface felt very user friendly.

Cons

Earlier on,�the software�would freeze pretty often. It also wasn't well optimized for lower-spec computers especially the ones at public schools, so I usually had to rely on my own PC to make animations without constant lag.

“fun classroom videos every month

Pros

Being able to use Animaker for free and create three videos a month, each up to two minutes long, is something I really appreciate. I use it to make videos for my kids and students based on whatever topic or character trait we are focusing on that month. There is also the option to upgrade for $20 a month to the basic plan which unlocks a lot more features and lets me build much more customized, longer videos for class rules, new lessons and other fun monthly ideas.

Cons

A limitation with the free plan is that it only allows three downloads per month and each video has to be two minutes or less.

“Great features, frustrating glitches

Pros

Using it is fun and pretty easy and it helps me create videos that feel cool and unique. There are also plenty of useful free features I can add into my project.

Cons

The downside is that it can be very glitchy and scenes sometimes disappear out of nowhere. I had to reach out to tech support to recover deleted scenes and it took about a day and a half. I also wasn't happy that There is no option to add links inside the video.

“constant lag and lost work

Pros

To be honest, There is very little to appreciate about Animaker when the core functionality is this unreliable. The feature list might look appealing at first but that quickly gets overshadowed by nonstop lag and frequent crashes. It's tough to see any value in it when I keep having to refresh the app and lose my progress over and over.

Cons

This platform�sounded promising, so I expected a much better experience but it's been frustrating from start to finish.�The app�lags constantly which makes getting anything done feel nearly impossible. Whenever I try to create or edit a project, it freezes up and forces me to refresh the page, only to end up starting over again. That wastes a huge amount of time and completely kills productivity especially when you're already deep into a project. The lag has been an ongoing problem and there doesn't seem to be any real solution coming. For something that's supposed to simplify animation, it ends up doing the exact opposite. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're okay with wasting time and getting annoyed the whole way through. Really disappointing.

“Really like the powerpoint import

Pros

It's fun to use and very easy, plus I was able to import my PowerPoint without any trouble.

Cons

One limitation was that the bullet points couldn't be set up in multiple tiers.

Pros

Putting together animated videos with this product is really easy. It lets me create impressive videos using a wide range of animations which makes the whole process enjoyable.

Cons

The smart move animation feature can be a little tricky to figure out. It would be much better if there were some helpful tooltips or info prompts to guide users while using it.

Animaker works really well when creating promotional cartoons for my brand and other similar content.

It's very simple to use and it's easy to find all the characters you need for making cartoons.

As an enterprise customer, I have been able to get a lot out of this platform because it offers me such a wide range of tools and they all work well together within the same ecosystem.

Cons

The interface occasionally has small hiccups but their support team responds quickly and usually resolves those issues without much delay.

Using Animaker is genuinely fun and the results turn out really well. It offers me plenty of options to work with which makes creating videos feel flexible and creative.

It can be a little tricky sometimes but the help desk is really helpful when that happens.

Pros

Having complete control over how my scenes look is a huge plus. On other animation platforms, I cannot even change the colors, so this gives me much more freedom to create things the way I want. It also helps me earn creative points on projects since I can use this instead of recording myself. The support team has also been incredibly responsive and helpful. Cons

The biggest limitation is the time cap. I'd really like to see it increased to 5 minutes. It would also be much better if basic users had the option to pay for a single video download instead of having to subscribe for an entire month.

Getting started with it is very user friendly and it's been really useful for my work. There are plenty of colors and a lot of different options to play around with which makes creating videos more enjoyable.

Cons

Well it does take a bit of time to learn everything properly and the text-to-speech feature could be better.

It was a bit slow on my older laptop but once I switched to a newer one, it worked really well.

There are plenty of templates available which makes it useful for different types of integrations.

It feels a bit too animation-heavy and I'd really like to have more graphic style options to choose from.

Pros

Animaker has been fantastic especially as someone just getting started in animation. I have used After Effects and Premiere for creating this kind of content but with Animaker the process is much faster while still delivering really good quality.

Cons

At times it does lag and the cloud save feature isn't very reliable. There have been moments when a project didn't save properly.

It is very user friendly as I can just drag in my assets and begin animating right away. The layout is simple to move through and the whole platform is very easy to use.

It does miss some of the features you'd get from more advanced and complex platforms.

Coming from a non-digital background, Animaker has been brilliant and easy to work with. I have used it many times over the years, both for my university assignments and in two different jobs and it has consistently been useful.

The only downside I have noticed is that when a recording is very short, it becomes quite hard to make changes or adjustments.

One downside is that it used quite a bit of my WiFi data while I was making a project.

Putting together animations is more simplified which is the part I appreciate most.

Actually editing things is really frustrating. Objects keep shifting around randomly, I have to redo the same work multiple times and the whole thing feels quite buggy. On top of that, the final render does not even come out correctly.

Animaker is beginner-friendly and very practical to use especially when I am just getting started.

Cons

The tricky part came when I tried to add my own music from my gallery. I had to convert the file from MP3 to WAV and if you don't already know that step is required, you might just settle for something else or switch to another app.

To me the subscription cost felt a bit expensive and that pricing was not made clear upfront.
