“Flexible Design with Some Limitations
Pros
The ability to work with multiple native CAD formats directly is impressive. I really appreciate how flexible this tool is for different workflows.
Cons
The lack of parametric features is frustrating and there's no change history when you're modeling, makes it hard to track what you've modified.

“Twelve Years with This CAD Tool
Pros
It's not user friendly and once you get the hang of it, everything flows smoothly. The drafting process does an excellent job getting detailed specs down to the fabricators on the shop floor. We rely on it for creating tooling for sheet metal stampings and after mastering the basics, making changes becomes incredibly simple which is a lifesaver in the prototype business where adjustments are constant.
Cons
The sheet metal unfolding feature struggles with blanking parts that have beads and it can't handle parts with contours like some other software can.

“Reliable CAD Tool for CFD Work
Pros
I really like how interactive the interface is and it's surprisingly quick to pick up because most CAD tasks can be done with just four main operations, pull, move, fill and boolean. What would take forever in other CAD software is simple here. The geometry repair tools like stitching and fixing missing faces are huge lifesavers when working with complex models. That CTRL+scroll function for selecting background faces is genius. Share-topology and named selections work smoothly too. The scripting features are really powerful, although the documentation could use some improvement.
Cons
It doesn't always function properly, requiring significant manual work on parts when it fails. The interference detection feature can't resolve all part conflicts which means spending considerable time fixing issues manually. That default 'merge' setting for pull and move operations is really frustrating and you have to change it to 'no merge' every single time you do a fresh install. While the learning curve is manageable, it limits how much you can actually simplify complex 3D CAD components for production use. There's basically no documentation available for scripting functionality. You also can't create relationships between parameters which is pretty limiting.

“Streamlined modeling with solid analysis features
Pros
I like that it includes the ANSYS simulation module which saves me from having to buy a separate modeling tool. The feasible module connects seamlessly with the analysis module and it's an advanced tool that lets me redesign analysis systems right within the same module.
Cons
The complex feature capturing capabilities just aren't there when working with space claims. It's hard to use at starting especially when your trying to master the loft and sweep features. Customization options feel clunky compared to other tools I've used , not nearly as easy as it should be.

“Good CAD Tool with Room for Growth
Pros
I love how simple this CAD editing tool is and the minimalistic design makes everything feel clean. The latest update brought topology optimization features which have been incredibly useful. It excels at both generating new CAD geometry from scratch and modifying existing designs without any problem.
Cons
The lack of a product tree is noticeable and it doesn't really support feature development like other CAD software out there. But since its mainly a CAE tool, I can't complain too much and there aren't many real downsides.

“Solid choice for analytical work
Pros
It's really efficient for making quick adjustments to the model when I run into analysis roadblocks. I like how smoothly it handles those last-minute tweaks to avoid any issues. It saves me a lot of back-and-forth time that used to be so frustrating.
Cons
It's not ideal for working with large parts that have multiple child parts. It takes some practice to get used to if you're switching from other modeling software. Also converting file types is really tedious!

“Powerful platform for future engineering
Pros
I find it really helpful for breaking down complicated engineering models into simpler forms. This cuts down on how long simulations take to run, which means I can get faster and more precise results when working on projects.
Cons
The interface can be pretty complex at first and you'll need some initial training to get the hang of it. Basic functions like dividing faces into splits or creating face groups should be more intuitive and easier to access.

“Perfect CAD Companion for Ansys
Pros
It's really easy to work with and use. The cleanup features for FE simulation models are especially great and they make the whole process much smoother.
Cons
Working with this feels limiting since it doesn't function like a true CAD application, the geometrical constraints really hold you back, plus it's non-parametric which makes design changes frustrating.

“3D Model Simplification Made Easy
Pros
Working with imported models is very amazing process and I can quickly delete features, add new ones or resize parts without any difficulty. The parametric capabilities are fantastic for running studies where I adjust dimensions like length and see how it affects the results.
Cons
Creating new geometry from scratch wasn't as easy as I expected, definitely more challenging than other CAD programs I've used. The interface feels complex, similar to more advanced software and could really use some user-friendly improvements to make navigation easier.

“Streamlines modeling and analysis workflows
Pros
It has an very clean interface that makes complex work feel effortless. The tools are designed to help you complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality and I find myself finishing tasks much faster than with other analysis programs.
Cons
The software has very few issues overall. If I had to nitpick, adding more features like boolean functions would be nice. It does get sluggish when importing large models though.

“Best for Preprocessing, Limited CAD Use
Pros
The interface is clean and simple to use with a modern look that I really like. Creating Named Selections is super easy and the process is really streamlined. When it comes to importing different file formats, this tool really stands out.
Cons
Navigation gets confusing when you're trying to use more advanced editing features. Setting up parametric constraints isn't as simple compared to other modern CAD systems out there. It works fine for basic geometry creation and does beat DesignModeler but that's about it.
