“Pretty good though it could be better

I really like how it integrates with Canva and how accurately it removes backgrounds. Also it does a fantastic job of removing objects from photos.

Cons

The program lacks manual adjustments and additional features. And when using the AI to edit a photo we are restricted to only a few options.

“Fast and smart tool

Pros

One thing that really impressed me is how easy it is to remove objects from photos or fill in the background. You just select the area, click Magic Edit and in seconds the AI does its job. The result is usually clean and natural looking. Plus no photo editing skills are needed. The interface is clear and the functions are easy to follow, so you always feel in control right away. Even if you are not a designer, you can create beautiful yet professional looking images. What I love most is being able to start with a photo, modify it using AI, add text, graphics and layouts that too all in one place. Overall it is so convenient and saves lots of time. Also I had fun using the image generation and face-editing features. It is one of those tools where you start working and end up playing for half an hour because it is so engaging.

Cons

Sometimes when removing objects, there are traces left behind or the fill looks a bit off. Though it is not a major issue but you may need to try multiple times to get a clean result. Some more advanced AI tools are not available in the free version. So if you do not have Canva Pro your options are a bit limited. And while it is great for most needs, if you are in professional design there are still certain things that are not accessible. So I come to the conclusion that it is not quite a replacement for software like Photoshop or Lightroom yet.

I have used the AI Photo Editor and it works like magic. So I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The only drawback is that it is only available with a premium subscription.

Personally I found it a bit basic and I prefer other editing options that I like more.

I love how Canva AI transforms objects into 3D images and also turns images into drawings using different models.

Cons

The limited version is something that causes issues like at times loading and saving take quite a long time. Also customer service is not very active as they take a while to respond.

The Canva AI interface is easy to use, featuring simple AI tools that are perfect for quick photo enhancements and edits. Plus it saves me time by automatically removing backgrounds and delivers high quality AI-generated effects.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features require a paid subscription. Also there are fewer customization options compared to professional photo editing tools I have come across. Additionally the AI-generated edits can be a bit inconsistent at times.

“Like using it!

Pros

The one thing that makes it the best among the rest is its user-friendly interface, easy access to all our folders, designs and images and the simplicity with which we can create designs. Also there are plenty of other tools that make the design process really easy.

Cons

I have not noticed any negatives or issues so far.

I am a big fan of Canva. The AI magic features have really impressed me so far and I appreciate how easy it is to navigate. The library it has is vast, offering lots of templates and design elements. As whether you are looking for social media posts, presentations, documents, invitations and more, there is a huge variety of styles, themes and options available to choose from.

Cons

There are times when I am not entirely sure what the AI wants from me or how best to explain what I am looking for but overall it's very impressive.

“Proven pretty useful for us

Canva AI is proven to be a handy tool for us. And I would say it is perfect for beginners especially for those who are not in the design industry or don't have much design knowledge.

Designing through the mobile version takes time and effort. Everything else seems fine to me.

“The ultimate design app

There are so many good things about it but one that stands out is that it has made the visual development process simple with artificial intelligence.

Honestly I cannot think of anything I dislike. As it is an excellent app especially considering it offers free access.

“Fine but the AI editor is not up to par

I absolutely love Canva but I think its AI Photo Editor missed the mark. Unless it has a reference image it struggles to understand what image you are trying to work with. Like even after reading the directions, which mainly focused on how to replicate the same character, it was still hard for me to find the image I was looking for.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that whenever I begin with the Canva AI Photo Editor it often generates an image that is completely unrelated to my reference forcing me to start over. I had better success when I manually selected my image, refined the search and got more specific with the options. But overall the AI Photo Editor did not work as expected for me.
