“Switched from Adobe for good

Pros

The software has an incredible amount of features which can feel overwhelming at first but you can start with just the basics and expand from there. I began with just the edit pages after reluctantly switching from Premiere Pro. Once I got comfortable with it, I completely stopped using Adobe for motion graphics, film and animation and this tool is simply superior. I use the paid studio version which is a one-time purchase at an affordable price with NO SUBSCRIPTION. It runs off GPU for excellent performance. The free training materials are fantastic, including assets, downloadable manuals and tons of videos. I've converted several colleagues and none have regretted the switch. The different pages are brilliant and you can work in timeline editing then seamlessly switch to color grading, audio, motion graphics, VFX and delivery for rendering, all without opening separate applications. I can't recommend it enough though I probably annoy people with how much I rave about it!

Cons

I can't really think of any major issues. The only thing that comes to mind is the lack of an Android version which would be nice to have.

“Very effective solution!

Pros

The color correction capabilities are absolutely incredible and the grading technology paired with such interface makes achieving those cinematic looks surprisingly simple. What really impressed me is that you dont need expensive hardware to get professional level results. Plus the processing speed is fantastic, I can work with multiple resolutions and formats on the same timeline without any lag or delays slowing me down.

Cons

The shortcuts for basic functions aren't very simple and it takes some time to get used to them at first.

“Quick video editing excellence

Pros

I can handle several timelines at once and render them all together which saves tons of time. There's even a free version available. The interface feels really smooth,I got the hang of it pretty quickly without much effort.

Cons

I haven't find anything to complain about yet and this has become one of my go to tools.

“Solid video editing tool

Pros

The editing tools here are among the best I've used , as someone who creates and edits content regularly, this really shines when fine tuning work before upload. Color correction and functional features are definitely worth trying and they're so precise it's hard not to be impressed with the results. Cross team collaboration works great when we're all working on the same project in a large organization.

Cons

Honestly, it's really hard to get the hang of and it's definitely not beginner friendly and I wouldn't recommend it for newcomers. You really need to use it on a desktop because it doesn't work well with other devices due to software requirements. I'd also recommend using a more recent desktop or laptop that's regularly updated, otherwise you're likely to run into glitches.

“Top alternative to Adobe Suite

Pros

I'm amazed there's both a free and paid version available. So far with the free version, I can do everything I normally do in Premiere Pro without spending a dime. The autosave functionality is incredible and has saved me countless times. What really impressed me is how it actually utilizes my GPU instead of relying solely on the CPU, makes such a difference in performance. The autosave alone makes this my go-to editing tool now!

Cons

I wish it had more template choices. Platforms like Evanto offer way more video templates for After Effects, so the selection here feels pretty limited in comparison.

“Comprehensive & User-Friendly Video Editor

Pros

Even though this is a comprehensive tool, the interface feels very simple and gives me great control. I can create videos much faster than I could with Adobe Premiere and the pricing is really reasonable too. It's honestly the tool I recommend most to other professionals in my field who want to create content.

Cons

The way projects are stored in the platform is a bit hard to use.

“Powerful editing with BlackMagic integration

Pros

Being able to correct mistakes during live switching has completely changed the game for me.

Cons

I haven't had any real downsides yet. It's become my go to for starting any editing project and honestly can't think of anything that bothers me about it.

“Impressive free software with great potential

Pros

The fact that it's completely free makes it risk free to test out and see if it fits what you need. I found the interface really clean and simple even beginners can jump right in. There's an impressive selection of free effects available and if something isn't included, you can usually find workarounds to get the job done. Plenty of online documentation and tutorials are available at no cost which is helpful. What I really appreciate is having full control over virtually every setting and parameter.

Cons

The premium features could be more accessible to free users since they include very basic effects. There are some really handy functions tucked away behind keyboard shortcuts but they're not explained well so most people dont even know they exist.
