“Full of potential

Pros

Honestly it does everything we wanted it to be. It is like having a full recording and mixing studio right at our fingertips, complete with instruments, controllers and effects. In short it has no limits.

Cons

I was new to the software and the interface wasn ot the easiest to navigate making the learning process a bit difficult. So to overcome this I joined a Mixing Academy to learn how to use it. But if you are experienced with recording studio software, this likely won't be an issue for you regarding the interface.

FL Studio is very easy to use. Also I liked its outstanding compatibility for all different types of VST instruments and other audio DAW plugins.

Cons

The interface of FL Studio can be somewhat tricky to understand and customizing some shortcuts is not as simple as I expected it to be.

One thing I love the most about it is that there is no need to record anything. As with the sequencer I can create everything directly within the software.

I found the recording feature a bit confusing at first but I was able to figure out how to work around it.

Well I have not used it yet because my license key isn't working. So I cannot say anything!

FL Studio itself might be great but their customer support has been terrible. I reached out because my license key did not work despite it being purchased and me receiving the key. And it has been over a week with no reply, so just be cautious as you might pay for the product and never get the support or service you expect. Overall this has been a huge letdown for me.

“An ideal tool for new music makers

Pros

Simplicity is something I like the most about it. This app is perfect for beginner musicians. Also it is a great tool for teaching music theory and timing. The graphic layout helps break down timing and beats which makes it easier for young musicians to understand note types and timing. Plus it is great for DJ remixing too.

Cons

There were a few challenges but I overcame them with time.

Some of the more advanced settings are a little difficult to find given the large number of options in the software. StillI would say it's absolutely worth the effort to locate them.

Also it is simple enough for both beginners and experienced producers to use which makes music creation more efficient. Plus I find it ideal for anyone looking to become a music producer, beat maker or recording engineer in less time.

Cons

FL Studio does not perform as well in audio recording and editing when compared to other DAWs like Pro Tools or Logic Pro. So I would say this could be a limitation for those who need robust multitrack recording features.
