“Reliable software but with potential

Pros

Working with this software has been a real breakthrough for my 3D projects. What really stands out is how comprehensive the toolset is and I can sculpt detailed models from the ground up, manipulate every vertex and edge with precision and apply textures smoothly. The real time preview is fantastic since I can see changes instantly as I work which speeds up my workflow considerably. It handles everything from basic modeling to complex designs, making it perfect whether your just starting out or have years of experience under your belt.

Cons

Like most 3D modeling programs, this one can be pretty demanding on your system. if you dont have a powerful computer, you might run into performance issues that limit what you can actually do with it.

Pros

The worklife balance here is fantastic and the environment feels genuinely friendly. There's always something new to learn with alot of technologies available, plus the monthly review sessions really help track progress. Knowledge transfer sessions have definitely improved my skills over time. What I appreciate most are the cultural activities and they really know how to keep employee motivation high.

I honestly can't think of any real downsides. it's been running smoothly for over a year now.

I've always appreciated the support from Hexagon especially during the Intergraph era. While many companies get caught up in just pushing products and let their support quality slide, It manages to maintain strong customer service even when they're focused on sales.

I get exposed to so many cutting edge technologies that most people have never even heard of and some feel like they're straight out of science fiction.

The pricing feels steep for what you get especially with some of the AI and ML features that seem underdeveloped for basic use cases. Local competitors are offering simpler solutions that work just as well for a fraction of the cost. The sales team could use more training and they struggle to explain the actual value proposition beyond the flashy features. Smart city and mining modules need more work before they're worth the premium price tag.

The word clouds and topic clusters make it so much easier to explore large date ranges after setting up queries. What I like is how these features let me jump from topic to topic and theme to theme and it's very helpful for navigating through massive amounts of mentions and developing meaningful insights from the analysis.

The interface feels clunky and can be frustrating when you're trying to find specific tools. The user experience isn't as simple as other platforms I've used and the UI could definitely be cleaner. Their customer support is slower to respond compared to competitors and getting help when you need it quickly can be challenging. The pricing is also on the expensive side, though not the worst I've seen.

The graphics quality is honestly the best I've seen compared to competitors. What really impressed me is the integration capabilities. In detail engineering, we're constantly sharing data between teams process info to instrumentation, valve dimensions to 3D modeling, electrical loads to other departments. These tools handle data transfer seamlessly with minimal effort which prevents the human errors that usually happen with manual transfers.

Cons

Managing licenses is a real headache and the whole process is confusing and overly complicated for businesses to figure out. Plus, the pricing is very high which makes it hard to justify the expense.

I really like how flexible the measurement cells are and you can customize them completely to fit right into your production line. The metrology and imaging features offer tons of configuration options that help solve real production issues we face every day. Once everything's set up and running, the speed and reliability have been impressive and it's been a smooth ride overall.

Cons

It can be frustrating to find certain configuration settings and they're either hard to locate or I didn't even know they existed. There's also a noticeable lack of consistency between different software modules. The initial setup took a long time because of all the customization options for cells and equipment we had to go through.
