Unbeatable in its class

Pros

I really like LPX compared to other DAWs. For starters, it's affordable which is a big plus. And the features are amazing especially the built-in pitch correction. Honestly that alone makes it totally worth the price!

Cons

I know this is picky but still difficult to use because there's just so much this software can do! There are so many features that I've had to use some other websites to really learn all of them.

I absolutely love using it

Pros

I absolutely love how interactive Logic Pro's design is. Even though I've used other DAWs, It has been my go-to for the last 14 years. Every update just adds more features that make creating and working a lot easier.

Cons

Honestly I don't have many complaints about Logic Pro. If I had to pick something, it would be how long it takes to download the extra sounds and content. That part can be slow.

Logic Pro became industry standard

Pros

It was easy for me. The basic features cover pretty much everything you'd need but if you want to dive deeper, the advanced features are there without feeling too complicated. The layout makes it easy to find what you need and the midi is so much better and easier to use than Pro Tools. Also I've never had issues linking audio files, unlike some other DAWs. It's just smooth sailing and I can record, produce and write without any worries.

Cons

My least favorite feature has to be the comping. It's not bad but I think Pro Tools does it a lot smoother. You can save multiple versions to compare but with Logic it's more complex, though still doable.

Smart pick with Logic.

Pros

Honestly if you're a Mac user, it's just the best. Nothing else comes close.

Cons

It is limited to just this operating system which is kind of a bummer if you're not using a Mac.

Perfect for editing audio

Pros

It's so flexible and it works like a charm on my MacBook. I've never had any compatibility issues with it which is a huge plus.

Cons

It's difficult to use for sure. But honestly, the flexibility this software offers makes it totally worth it.

Best in the Apple ecosystem

Pros

This is massive and very flexible. If it doesn't have something you need, no worries and you can just add your own VST effects and instruments and keep going.

Cons

It's APPLE ONLY. That's why I gave it a 5 for the likelihood to recommend. You're totally locked into using Apple products with this program and there's no Windows version. Even though most of the media world is Apple-focused, there's no compatibility with Windows.

Great for home-based production

Pros

Recording with Logic is so painless and easy, no matter what stage of mixing I'm in. It's also really organized and keeps the quality high when transferring tracks.

Cons

The bus system can get too complicated sometimes. It's way too easy to end up with unnecessary bus tracks which can be annoying.

I'll always stick with this software

Pros

There's an endless range of instruments, sounds and vocals. It's easy to get started even as a beginner and the software makes it simple to edit and take your time to create great pieces.

Cons

The pricing is a little high especially as a beginner. But the good thing is that it's a one-time payment and in the end, it's definitely worth it.

Must have audio tool for Apple users

Pros

It's simple to access if you have an Apple product which is great.

Cons

Honestly, Apple products aren't always the easiest to use and it feels like they're locking you into their ecosystem.
